Paul 584
Gem broke the wireless router. She blames a power surge, but I know the truth! :P She has changed the filter and reset it (normally works), but the light for the net has died. The Pc and laptop connect to the router, but the router no longer connects to the net. Any ideas guys? Edited June 13, 2007 by Paul

Guest Slim Jim
Try resetting it via a web browser (or if you meant that by reset it, then reset it via the power). If neither work then I'm not sure.
Guest MastersGonads
Another Question, regards to Routers My router is plugged into the house modem, when I turn on my laptop it recognises the router and the connection is excellent... So why, when I try to bring up an Internet Explorer page it says cannot find server?

Re-install your broadband cd and and do the necessary steps again but make sure you have your user-name and password with you and put it in again, this should help it work as the connection is already working. Let me know if this works??

Surely you could manipulate the system and get one for free? In fact, I may have a spare one.
