TWO Team Of The Season

Whoops, this is the category that I completely forgot to tell people about. As I have no nominations for this award, I'm picking the nominees myself (Other Sports is so democratic). They are:

 

Italy

Argentina

Inter Milan

It was a cardboard scudetto mate Roma dont have the squad to compete, we were crippled by a points penalty and the scandal took away our pre season and opportunity for transfers whilst they thrived on signings from the calciopoli victims.

 

Their season has to be judged on Europe because the domestic contest was a joke and in Europe they ballsed it up big time like they always do

I wouldn't call getting knocked out of the Champions League on away goals after two draws "ballsing it up" Biggie.

 

Even without the 8 point deduction though they wouldve beaten us by 29 points, and although they are our arch rivals, I dont think its fair to take away their amazing achievement in Serie A this season.

Sevilla. Being able to compete and still being in the title race in La Liga going into the last week is one thing but also retaining the UEFA cup is another and they get my vote for team of the year.

I may be biased but United have been on another level this year.

to come second in the league, win the FA Cup and Carling Cup with all the injuries we've had and the backroom problems and Sheva/Ballack misfirings was phenomenal and showed loads of team spirit

Man Utd for me. We are back to playing football the way it should be played.

Not that I'm being biased or anything but I'd say Man Utd. A few seasons ago, everybody said that Fergie was as good as gone and that Man Utd's glory years had passed them by and it was all about Chelski, Liverpool etc now - well we proved them all wrong didn't we? We clawed our way back to the top, we proved we were the best team this season, to go from where we were last season to where we got this season - Champions, FA Cup finalists and CL semi finalists proves that we are still a force with Sir Alex still leading us. All this BS about Chelski having injuries - blah blah blah, biggest bunch of whiny fxxks ever. We had our entire back four out injured (plus other players injured) and they STILL couldn't catch us because we still kept on winning :)

Plus we played football this year the way it should be played :)
