Taken from CZW fans

1. Andy Sumner & Drew Gulak over CZW World Tag Team Champuions Ruckus & Sabian (with Chrissy Rivera) in a non-title match.

2. "Light Tubes, Ladders, & Log Cabin Match" - Danny Havoc pinned Jr. Heavyweight Champion Vortekz in a non-title match with a Death Valley Drive off the ladder through a log cabin.

3. "Home Run Derby Match" - Insane Lane defeated Freakshow by submission with a modifed Crossface using a tack bat.

4. "Shattered Dreams Match" - DJ Hyde (with Maven Bentley) pinned Mad Man Pondo after delivering the Shadow Driver to Pondo through a third panel of glass.

5. "Fans Bring the Weapons and Barbed Wire Boards" - UVU Champion Brain Damage (with Maven Bentley) pinned Iron Man Champion Toby Klein (with Billy Graham) after Lobo chased Bentley away from ringside, and Graham, wielding a fire torch, accidently blew a ball of fire into Klein's face, aiming for Damage.

6. "TLC - Tables, Light Tubes, and Chairs" - Drake Younger pinned Dustin Lee after delivering the Drake's Landing "vertaebreaker" through a table that had been propped up in the corner.

7. "No Ropes, Barbed Wire Match" - Necro Butcher pinned Zandig after a classic brawl that included a ton of blood and a boxing-esque fistfight that went back and forth.

8. "Weedwhacker Rules, Must Use a Weedwacker On Opponent Before an Elimination Can Occur" - Drake Younger defeated Danny Havoc and DJ Hyde in an elimination match. Hyde out first via double weedwhacking. Havoc next out.

9. "Fans Bring the Weapons and Whatever's Left" - Brain Damage defeated Insane Lane and Necro Butcher. Damage & Lane double-teamed Necro throughout. Necro out first. Lane second.

10. CJ O'Doyle pinned Greg Excellent to begin O'Doyle's run against non-junior heavyweight competition.

11. Ryan McBride defeated Andrew Steel and Christian Hane in a three-way, one fall contest after delivering a beautiful 450 splash.

12. "Ultraviolent Divide & Conquer, 200 Lighttube Deathmatch Final" - Drake Younger defeated Brain Damage by retrieving the trophy and bringing it back to the ring, crawling on the ground several feet as muscle was exposed on his chest from a severe wound, and finally making it to the ring as Damage was trapped on top of the truck when the ladder was moved. The lumberjacks were armed with light tubes, a barbed wire whip, a tack bat, and more. Damage seemed pissed off at Bentley for causing him to lose. Damage (barely) gave Drake respect for beating him, and claimed he'd never get the UVU Title back. Post-match, Drake thanked the fans.

That is ridiculous: I find no entertainment in that whatsoever, in fact I think its sick.

They said that at the start of the UFC, but things have been different since they changed the rules how ever many years ago.

At least with UFC its properly controlled combat between two professional fighters. With this CZW crap its just barbaric "wrestling" (and I use that term lightly) with the use of ridiculously lethal objects thats there to get a rise from a bloodthirsty crowd.

I know a lot of people like that sort of barbarism and brutality, but to me this sort of thing should get banned.

well thats indie wrestling folks, they have to do that sort of stuff to survive.

i know its sick and i myself dont condone it but they really have no choice. theres are like a gajillion other hardcore promotions out there doing the same thing so for CZW to survive they have to kick it up a notch

Glorious. I love it! CZW took the deathmatch ball dropped by ECW and ran to hell with it. Its not my favorite promotion, but it's more than a guilty pleasure. I truly appreciate what these wresters (and I say that deffinatively and positively) do for the fans. I feel sorry for the people who can't appreciate all the great avenues and niches of the wrestling wolrd there really are.

Nobody here has a problem with hardcore though twigs, its that its been taken way too far. Its less than half a step away from backyarding.

And yet you'll watch a man try to defend himself until he's punched so hard in the head and face that he looses consciousness? I'd rather watch a grotesque show than a vicious beating, is what I'm saying. I'm far more uncomfortable watching facial ground and punding than a nasty blade job.

lol a blade job is one thing, peoples nipples hanging off is quite another.

I mean look at these. The weedwacker itself isnt too bad, but check the area they are wrestling in. No way on Gods holy earth is that even slightly sane. As for the big bump...why? What did it achieve? Nothing, no noteriety or fame. It was poorly planned and performed. Thats the 2 issues I have. Safety and looking realistic should be 2 of the most important things for a pro wrestler.

None of us really know how badly his chest was cut... but after butchering my fair share of primal cuts of beef, I can tell you that every muscle in the body is attatched to the surrounding muscles by two kinds of fat (one soft, and another firm and almost tendon-like), which you'll have to slice through, rather precicely and carefully to actually seperate one muscle from the other. so to hear that his entire chest muscle was hanging out as he crawled across the floor sounds like a lot of hype to me. The nastiest cut I've seen in a crazy hardcore bloodfest would be a puncture in Necro Butcher's bicep from being stabbed by a broken light tube.

And that was a great bump off the Cage of Death 8, but it wasn't that sick. They went through a table before breaking through the plywood floor, and barbed wire mostly only creates superficial wounds. I thought Homicide jumping off a balcony and bouncing off of three solid Japanese folding tables that didn't break, hurt more than that.

You know by now that noteriety and fame are not the only motivating factors in a person's life.

Actually the huge cage to outside spot from CoD 6 I found alot worse, as it was a bit of a botch and Ruckus' head hits the pavement.

I'm not a huge fan of ultra-violent at all. I find it a bit too gladiatorial (blood will always be more violent than unconsiousness), and a ripped open chest is something I'm just not interested in seeing at all.

On CZW as a whole, through, the place is really on its last legs. They've lost all the guys who brought true wrestling credibility, and are now only left with the deathmatch guys, so this is the only route they can go. The ROH v CZW war put ROH on a higher level, but CZW COMPLETELY dropped the ball on the whole deal and got nothing out of it. They didn't do anything to bolster the feud from their end. Heck, I'd imagine ROH didn't run a Rottweilers or GenNext program against BLKOUT as they wanted to leave something for CZW to do, but they didn't.
