Guest Twig
Dave@wrestlingobserver.com Scott Steiner was scheduled to undergo surgery on his trachea today in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Steiner was injured yesterday in taking a kick to the throat from Apolo in a tag team match where Steiner & Robert Roode faced Jeff Jarrett & Apolo. He seemed fine after the match, but at 2 a.m., was having trouble breathing and was rushed to the hospital. There was no estimate until after surgery is completed regarding how long Steiner would be out of action, but the preliminary word was that he's not expected back in the ring for a while. Steiner had just started teaming with brother Rick for a few matches against Team 3-D, including at the 6/17 Slammiversary PPV. I really hope this is nothing serious. I was looking forward to the Steiner Brothers taking the belts off of 3D. Also how with Scott tear bubba & devon new a**holes if he can't speak!? I really hope everything goes well. Guest Nemesis Enforcer
Noooooo!! Steiner and his verbal beatdowns on the TNA roster have been the best thing about iMPACT! over the last few weeks, this is very sad news :sad5:
Guest Twig
Don't worry guys, he's ok. Story By: Will Hengelbrok According to reports, Scott Steiner had successful surgery on his trachea today and remains in Puerto Rico. Steiner will be unable to fly for several weeks because of the surgery. TNA is working on alternative transportation to get him back to the mainland United States. Guest Redneck Messiah
Scott's an idiot in real life but man I love his character. I loved him in WCW especially later in his run with the company when he's half shoot during in-ring interviews. You never knew what would come out of his mouth and always entertaining. WWE misused him badly when they resigned him a few years back. They didn't allow him to go off in interviews and his character suffered. TNA was allowing the crazy talking Scott Steiner to return which I loved. I hope he has a speedy recovery as I am too looking forward to seeing him tag again with his brother. See here's the thing I don't understand. You've never met the man, you know practically nothing about him, and yet from a character you've seen him play on TV you absolutely hate him.
