It is mostly written by Producer Neil, Fenners, Sheephead and Robbie, Lovejoy as Exec Producer oversees things, but the brains behind the outfit is Fenners

I can forsee Helen leaving too now though, as with Lovejoy off she is bound to get some offers of her own. Perhaps it will work out for the best in the end, with the show possibly ending before it runs dry or Sky suddenly discover some new talent to take in a similar but fresh direction.
