I cant believe some people can be so petty, thats a complete disgrace that they've been hounded out of their home.

 

Hopefully they can find some peace of mind wherever they move to, they will be better off, and at least they wont have to put up with this crap anymore.

That's a terrible story, so very unfair.

 

But also, notice the poll that's running on that page. The voters are split 50-50 over whether the Beatles were overrated or the best band ever.

Not to nitpick or anything, but the title of this thread is a bit misleading, because before I opened the thread and saw the title, I thought the council or a landlord had chucked them out. It should really say "Family Of Six Hounded Out"

I knew someone at college with that problem unfortunately. Though I highly doubt DS would act in that way.

As for the family, how come there is no mention of arrests? I hope that it was just omitted from the story as no one should have to live with fear and abuse like that. People that would terrorise others to the point of suicide should spend a few years in jail with only basic amenities.

They should proabably move away from the North East. I know its a bit of a defeatist attitude, but I feel the whole family will be better off in the long run if they give themselves a fresh start somewhere.

Jeez, I agree that you should expect a bit of stick (not saying its right mind) for being ginger, hell my best mate growing up was ginger and I gave him stick. But to attack people for being redheaded is beyond stupid and pathetic.

 

Some of the hottest girls I have ever met have been ginger....and of course I am a tad biased after the first time I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer.....:P

 

 

But its odd that its a kind of acceptable racism almost at times. And I grow some in my beard....not as much as Belty does mind. ;)

Unfortunately it is Twigster. This has happened in Moobs and my home town, and its really annoyed me how close-minded some people can be. I mean how stupid can people be to make a whole family's lives a living hell because of their hair colour?
