What are the rules?

 

Go to the The Prediction Page, and log in using your TWO USERNAME AND PASSWORD. From there, choose your predictions from the drop down list provided, and submit them. If you've changed your password since you first created your Predictions account, then you'll have to remember your old password.

 

I've lost my password, what should I do?

 

Send a PM to Kurtmark and he'll reply with will your password, or change it to whatever you request.

 

What are the changes?

 

Nothing major changed for 2007, just that we're adding more "miscelleanous" questions.

 

Remember, the Who and Who works like this:

You will get 1 point for every person who is correct.

You will lose 1 point for every person you choose over the number of people in the result.

e.g. La Resistance vs Edge & Chris Benoit at Taboo Tuesday 2004:

If you selected Rob Conway and Chris Benoit, +2 points.

If you selected Rob Conway and Edge, +1 point for Conway.

If you selected Sylvan Grenier and Edge, 0 points.

If you selected Rob Conway, Sylvan Grenier and Edge, +1 point for Conway, -1 point for 1 too many people chosen, therefore 0 points.

If it's a 6 man match and you choose all 6 people, then you can end up losing 2 points for this, so do so at your own peril.

 

Also, you get one account for the predictions. There will be NO merging, so for the best chance of victory, use the same account. If you change your TWO password, your Prediction password will NOT CHANGE. If you decide to change your username, then your predictions total will be "split" between the 2 usernames, so do this at your own choice, because they WILL NOT be combined. Get that? They WILL NOT be comined.

When you go into the Predictions system it tells you at the top of the page who you are logged in as - if it's wrong then there's a Logout link.

All the scheduled TNA & WWE PPV events this year.

 

Is there a prize?

 

You're damn right there is skippy, the winner gets to pick their prize from the Prizes page.

 

I will miss (PPV) because I am on holiday. Can I get someone else to choose for me?

 

No. It's your own fault for missing a PPV. How incredibly insulting of you to go on holiday.

 

What do the scores on the leaderboard mean?

 

The points total is how many points you have accumulated over the prediction season. The 'PPV' count is how many PPVs you have predicted. The percentage is the overall percentage of correct predictions you have made.

 

I have a problem with the counting of my total, as I believe I wasn't given points I should have been.

 

Ask - if something is wrong with the scoring, then I'll have to check on the results as it could be effecting everybody.

 

Should I announce my participation and successful predictions input?

 

NO! Nobody needs to know that, so please save this thread for question suggestions, problems and after-show comments.

 

I have an idea for an additional question, what should I do?

 

As long as you think of it before Friday afternoon, just put it in this thread - if it's a good enough question, it'll be added.

A few questions...

 

In the Cena V Khali match, isn't pinfall the only way for the match to end? If so, why the choice?

 

In the same match, the "where will the fall take place" question has the ramp as an answer. Will the aisleway be considered the same thing if there is no ramp?

 

Still on this match. The question about Khali's interpreter being present. Does it mean at ringside or just on the show as a whole?

 

In the ECW title match there is a question about random wrestlers coming to help Vince. Is this including Shane and Umaga, or is it in addition to them?

 

Same match. Shouldn't the announcers' question be multiple choice in case both RAW and ECW call it?

Can a mod please check out a question for me?

1. "Who will be put on the strecher first?" If you watch the match again you'll notice that after about 5 minutes or more Randy tries to get R.V.D out onto the strecher! However Rob clings on to the bottom rope(s) and Randy fails to get him onto the strecher. Now not long after this, Orton pushes Van Dam under the ropes and onto the strecher. Van Dam rolls off after just a few seconds, so surely the answer should be R.V.D.

There's no way of knowing if he was sweating the very minute the question was made up and there's no way of knowing he was sweating when had a go on the prediction page. Sure, it's a stupid comedy question, but it fails to be funny when it's really crap. I think the answer I gave is worthy of a point.

Wyndorf your right that henry question is a funny one. If you watch the match the first time he appears on screen he is sweating his ass off. I answereed "On the way to the ring" assuming that meant as soon as he came through the curtain. I think out of fairness we who got that he was sweating straight-away should all be allocated a point.

Yes, that is stupid. I answered 'yes' but wasn't given a point because the answer turned out to be crap. I couldn't give two hoots if Cena's booed or not, so I don't garner a laugh when he is. I predicted that he would be - because he always is. I'm not sure if he was or not, whether I got the prediction right is not the point, it should be scored correctly.

 

"Because Vince loves T&A" is a simple 'free' point for everyone - it's the only option - that's why the 'joke' works. It gives no one an advantage because everyone will get it. These other 'joke' questions are ironically.....a joke!
