Londoners - Travelcard prices?

I go to see Muse at Wembley 2 weeks Saturday, and we're getting a lift down there but me and the drinking buddy want to go sightseeing for a bit, and when I went in December, the best way I did it was with a travelcard thing.

I know we're getting droppd off and picked up again at a station, I think its euston. Do any of you Londoners have any idea how much it'll cost for my card for all day tube/train rides? Last time it cost me £18 from Bedford station but I dunno if this will be a peak time now.

It's really just £6.70? Jeebus thats good. Cheers guys, gonna enjoy London once again :)

Heh, used to be half that until Red Ken came in! Thankfully I have a monthly travelcard, otherwise I'd need an oyster (£4.00 for a single cash, £1.50 oyster).

I seriously can't get over how cheap it is. It's more convenient than anything I've ever travelled on, and the price is approximately the same as a return fair to Birmingham from here! I feel like I'm missing out not living in London.

Yeah I live 45 mins traintime from Euston, costs me a tenner for the journey to London and the travelcard all day, so shall probably be using that to get to Wembley.

You wont need an All zone one day travelcard (zones 1-6 at £6.70), just get a Zone 1-4 one day travelcard (£5.70).

That will take you around all the areas in Central London that you want to see, and to Wembley Park/Wembley Central (Zone 4). You can even buy the ticket from your local train station before you set out, every BR Station in the UK stocks them.

Word of warning, Nicole from a guy who lives in the Wembley area. Don't go anywhere near places going away from a pub called 'The Greyhound' (Not coming into Wembley High Street). Quite dangerous there. I should know, because I've been mugged around that area (And in broad daylight too..).
