Guest Jung
Right, I've just registered over at thefa.com for the ballot to get tickets to see the games against Germany and Israel. Question though, it says if I get through as I'm one FAN I only get 1 ticket? Surely not? I mean I don't really fancy going on my own, if I got through. Anyone care to shed any more info? Guest Nicole
If you go into a ballot, it is for one ticket only. If you are a member of englandfans, you get to buy more than one ticket I think. I know about the ballot thing as my mate Rachel got a ticket for the match tomorrow through ballot but could only buy one, but I think she had the option on the ballot to say how many she would like? Can't confirm that, I could ask her if you really wanted to know?
Guest Jung
I think you had to have other people who also had this FAN pass, to access more than one ticket. Stupid principle to me, don't see the harm of saying maximum of say 2 tickets?!
Guest MastersGonads
I 'think' you enter the ballot for as many tickets as you like, but have a better chance if its for one....
Guest Nicole
Maybe she got access cos her boyfriends an englandfans member? I don't like the whole ticketing system for england games, I only managed to go to the england/spain match because it was a friendly so less people wanted to go. Don't like the ticket prices for england matches at wembley either, £45 to sit in the top blocks!
Guest Christof
Yeah I had this issue for the brazil game, 1 member = 1 ticket in the ballot, nightmare!
Guest Nicole
Did you get a ticket in the end? I only know one person who was successful in the ballot, but then the queues for the tickets for ridiculous online, 45 minute waiting time.

Got three for the first game (u21's vs Italy u21's), that was good.
Guest Jung
Yeah I had this issue for the brazil game, 1 member = 1 ticket in the ballot, nightmare! Yeah thats exactly what I've had. Do the FA presume all England fans have no friends?
Guest Christof
Well I can give you my England fans number if that helps?
Guest Jung
Well I can give you my England fans number if that helps? Ah cheers, too late now though, already in the ballot. To be fair its kind of put me off the idea of seeing England now. I mean its England we play like every 3 months, its not Glastonbury, why do you need this constant ballot anyway? If anything it will ruin the atmosphere, when half the stadium is filled by people who don't like football, but were lucky enough to get through. Guest Nicole
Only other way to do it is to become an englandfans member, but unless you plan to go to alot of matches it won't help you on the savings front at all.
Guest Jung
Yeah its like £45 isn't it or something? It reminds me of when I nearly bought Police tickets. They say join our fanclub, and you get advance purchase availability. So you pay way too much (like £200) for the fanclub, to have a chance at paying way too much (£70-90) to see them live. Its like you've got loads of my money and your still trying to find more ways to shaft me?
Guest The Genetic Jackhammer
Out of interest how much is the England tickets v Brazil going for??
Guest Nicole
When they were first bought, cheapest was £32 I think ranging upto £80. Dunno how much there changing hands for now. My brothers just told me there playing germany at wembley on his birthday 22nd August...now its a quest to try and get some tickets for him. Guest FreeSpirit
The last England match I went to against Azerbaijan at St James' Park, I bought the tickets at ticketmaster.co.uk, the morning they went on sale. And got two great Row 6 tickets for £40 each. I'm really surprised there's a ballot for tickets to the friendly against Germany, or the Euro 2008 Qualifier against Israel though, I thought they would go on general sale, seeing the stadium holds 90,000. Guest Jung
There's a ballot for every England home game till the end of the year.
