The time is here, and it's ready to announce properly live from the now legendary PTW Offices (as we've been dropping hints for a week or two now!) - Power Trip Wrestling are proudly raising money for September's "The Aviva Walk London Breakthrough To Breast Cancer", on the 8th September 2007, a 44km walk in London; that PTW Owner Peter Staniforth's fiancee' Chrissie will be participating in.

To make a donation of any size or kind, visit Chrissie's page at http://www.breakthroughwalk.org.uk/ChristinaColes ; we appreciate any money given! Now, here's the news from PTW for the show, so far!

"FAITH, HOPE, & CHARITY"!

Power Trip Wrestling will present "Faith, Hope, & Charity", on Friday 6th July, at the home of PTW - Luton Rugby Football Club, Newlands Road, Luton.

Announced as the main event, is a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs match - with two teams who are rivals around the country facing off on neutral territory at PTW. The Sky Hi Xpress (Dan Ryder & Johnny Lee) will take on Beer Fuelled Violence (Arkangel & 'Scorpion' Bill Duffy), with the UKPW Tag Team Titles on the line; in what is sure to literally take the roof off of the building! Not even the aeroplanes that fly over the venue will be safe once this match begins!

Also announced for the show, is a stipulation match that will have to be seen to be believed - when without the PTW Hardcore title on the line, Jim Brooks will take on hometown boy Leon X..... with the added factor of "Hair VS Beard"! That's right folks, Jim Brooks's hair is at risk, as is Leon X's beard. The issues between these two have got intensely heated, and as usual Dan Edge will be in Jim Brooks's corner; with PTW Owner Peter Staniforth in Leon X's corner. What will happen? Be there to find out!

Rumours are also abounding of a certain 'Wonderkid' being there for the show, namely the one and only Jonny Storm; is this true and if so, who will his opponent be? Keep watching this space to see!

"FAITH, HOPE, & CHARITY"!

Power Trip Wrestling will present "Faith, Hope, & Charity", on Friday 6th July, at the home of PTW - Luton Rugby Football Club, Newlands Road, Luton.

JUST ADDED!

Just added to the show, the team known as The Players Club (Rich N' Famous & Kyle Kraze), have accepted the challenge for a rematch from PTW 'Betrayed' from May 19th; and will face off once more with the New Wave Enforcers (Brian Braddock & Frantastic). There's some serious heat between these four, and tensions have risen high - will the problems come to a head at 'Faith, Hope, & Charity', and will we see a decisive winner in this feud?

ALREADY ANNOUNCED : UPDATED!

In an update on the matches already announced, the TLC main event has taken a new twist with Beer Fuelled Violence adding their new valet, Stella; to their team. What kind of a factor does this add to their match with the Sky Hi Xpress? Could this be what takes them to winning the UKPW Tag Team Titles that are going to be on the line on July 6th, or will it just inspire the current champions even more to come out victorious? The 'Home of PTW', Luton Rugby Club, can often be heard to have aeroplanes flying above it; but not even the aircraft will be safe when these two teams go at it - with tables, ladders, and chairs (oh MY!) - and the titles up for grabs!

The 'Hair VS Beard' stipulated match between PTW Hardcore Champion Leon X and 'The Onslaught Machine' Jim Brooks, is another situation that needs to be closely monitored. Jim Brooks, and his manager Dan Edge, made a comment recently that has worried many around the PTW Offices; by stating that the "way to victory, is to get that Luton loving, self proclaimed 'Icon' out of the way". Is this a thinly veiled threat to PTW Owner Peter Staniforth? When asked, Peter said "There's a lot of people who seem to think they can talk about me. People queue up every day of my life to take a pop, and to try and knock me down. I'm at a point in my life where I'm standing up for what's right and good, and I'm trying to run a successful business. Brooks and Edge need to watch what they say, and it's as simple as that - because like me or hate me, I always back up what I say I'll do". Peter's ever present self-confidence aside, what are Jim Brooks and Dan Edge planning to do? All we can do, is wait.....

And in what many consider a main event all around the country, the match between 'Wonderkid' Jonny Storm and Ashe is starting to gather momentum. Jonny has been saying how happy he is to be coming back to PTW once more, having wrestled in March and April for PTW but missing May's show; and the PTW fans have responded in kind with excitement for his return. Ashe is angry, as he feels his PTW debut should be getting more attention. Ashe was quoted as saying that he is "The first ever LDN Champion, and with that alone, I should be getting a damn sight more respect around here than I currently am". These former FWA stars are now set to take each other on in what is quite likely to be a match of the year candidate for PTW.

ANOTHER NEW MATCH!

Another match has been announced for PTW 'Faith, Hope, & Charity' on July 6th, and it's sure to make an impact - which is just how PTW like it.

In a recent trip to the PTW Offices, Matt Naylor said that he felt he could have won the 4 way main event match at PTW 'Betrayed' from May 19th (which also featured IWW's Bingo Ballance, and Ross 'The Gift' Jordan); if not for what he considered 'that jealous audience approval seeking idiot' Seb Drea. So, after discussions, the cocky and arrogant Matt Naylor will face off against his former childhood friend Seb Drea; in the name of charity. And that is where the good feeling will end, because this one is intensely personal; as both men feel they have a point to prove to each other. In the ring, they know each other's next move, and are even capable of thinking two moves ahead of what the other will do; so who will change their gameplan? Or will both men stick with what brought them to the dance?

There is one unknown factor that has to be considered though....We don't know quite what happened, but Naylor's confidence (read: arrogance) has rubbed one of the PTW ladies up the wrong way; and Bacardi has said that she will be in the corner of the very popular high flying star Seb Drea. What this gives us is the potential for one of the best matches in PTW history, and one you can't afford to miss!

A NERVOUS SILENCE....

In what can only be considered a very tense situation, after PTW Owner Peter Staniforth's words last time in reference to Jim Brooks and his manager Dan Edge; there was a simple statement made by the pair that bordered on chilling in it's simplicity. On behalf of Brooks and himself, Dan Edge stated "Mr Staniforth needs to consider the severity of his comments, and that one of these days his self confidence is going to cost him dearly. Accidents can, and do happen".

What is going on in their devious, and some say evil minds? In a seeming reference to his distant past as Peter's bodyguard, Leon X was quoted as saying that "I will do all it takes to keep Peter's safety my main priority before this show". Peter was uncharacteristically calm when asked about the situation, and just stared into space before muttering "I've dealt with bigger marks for themselves than Brooks and Edge, and the mind games that go along with it. I won then and I'll win again; so what makes them think they're so special?"....

What, if anything, will happen here? Are Brooks and Edge just trying to get into the head of Staniforth, and Leon X; to distract from the issues at hand on July 6th? Or are they twisted enough to justify a potential attack on the PTW Owner himself?

We're getting much closer now to "Faith, Hope, & Charity", on Friday 6th July, at the home of PTW - Luton Rugby Football Club, Newlands Road, Luton. Here's the very latest news and updates on what has been a bizarre week at the PTW Offices.....

CHANGES AND BIG NEWS/ADDITIONS!

Due to reasons beyond PTW's control, Matt Naylor has had to be replaced on this show. As ever, and just for the record; PTW and Matt Naylor are on perfectly good terms despite this. And we've got someone special to step in too....so read on!

KRUIZ COMES TO PTW!

He is a former FWA star, a Tag Team Champion most places that he's worked; and possibly one of the most underrated wrestlers in the United Kingdom - he is Kruiz. A former member of the infamous 'Player's Club', technically proficient; and it's a shame his attitude in the ring isn't as classy as his wrestling ability. This didn't stop PTW when the opportunity came up to make him a part of the show, though; as Kruiz will step right into the match that has had to be changed; and will face off against Seb Drea; who will have his new valet Bacardi with him.

SENSIBLE? PETER?!

PTW Owner Peter Staniforth has decided that under the circumstances of 'The Onslaught Machine' Jim Brooks and his manager Dan Edge's threats, the time was right to hire a bodyguard. Peter has never been shy of doing this before, as in what could only be described as a past and long forgotten life, he employed Leon X in this job. This time around, he has decided to give the task to a man, who to be extremely tactful - is NOT to be argued with. His name is 'Maniac' Matt Savage, and he comes into PTW with quite a reputation - trained by NWA Hammerlock, with a legitimate MMA career, a black belt in karate, specialising in mauy thai and judo; and much more. Anyone in this business who wants to threaten, or to put their hands on Peter now, has one of the toughest men in the United Kingdom to get past first, so good luck!

ANNOUNCED NEXT TIME!

In what we will announce properly in the next news update, there will be a big Invitation Only Royal Rumble on July 6th, with the main thing to be in it being you had to be invited personally by PTW Owner Peter Staniforth to participate in it. We will announce some of the people in it in the next news update, and it's setting up to be a loud one!

We're nearly there now, for "Faith, Hope, & Charity", on Friday 6th July, at the home of PTW - Luton Rugby Football Club, Newlands Road, Luton. PTW would like to say thank you to the Luton on Sunday newspaper for their page article on us last week, as it is much appreciated. Here's the last minute news for the show!

SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH ADDED!

Another match announced will see the sure to be very popular team of TBW Heavyweight Champion Shabazz, The Red Haired Loon, and Micken (who is coming all the way down from Scotland, in the name of raising money for a great cause!), facing off against American Allstar, Lucian, and Mikey The Pikey. Allstar and Lucian will have their respective valets, Miss Vicky and Chelsey Karter in their corner. The girls have had issues in their past, can they put them aside in the name of 'bad'? Or will the good guys, despite not having much knowledge of each other's abilities; be able to come out on top in this one?

AN 'INVITATION ONLY' RUMBLE!

To make 'Faith, Hope, & Charity' even bigger, also added to proceedings is a Rumble. We had so many people want to be a part of the show, and to help raise money; that we felt we'd just let them get in the ring and kick off! Names that have thrown themselves into the hat for this match include : 'Maniac' Matt Savage, Lionheart, Spatch, Maverick, Anton Green, Tommy Stevens, Geraden, Perry Lang, and more! PTW Rumble's are known to be loud, wild, and full of excitement; so this will be one not to miss as all fight with the hope of coming out as the winner on a night that won't be forgotten!

MAKING SURE!

Just to make completely sure of his wellbeing on the night and in the future, not only has PTW Owner Peter Staniforth added 'Maniac' Matt Savage as his bodyguard, but he has also added a former ladies champion to his 'Security' staff; Aphrodite. Peter has clearly pulled quite the coup here, as Matt Savage juggles professional wrestling with an MMA career, and Aphrodite is known outside of the wrestling business for having won on an episode of the BBC's 'The Weakest Link'; therefore Peter's safety will be protected by muscle AND intelligence.

NOW ON YOU TUBE!

Now on YouTube, the official music highlights video from PTW 'Betrayed', from May 19th - visit

and feel free to email feedback to info@powertripwrestling.co.uk.

Here's the results from another wild night at Power Trip Wrestling. At PTW, we do nothing quietly, and this show was just another example! We raised 450 pounds last night, and we thank all of you for a night we wont forget!

PTW - 'Faith, Hope, & Charity' (all proceeds going to Breakthrough Breast Cancer):

* PTW Owner Peter Staniforth came out to a loud reaction, and as ever, after thanking the crowd for their attendance and support in the name of such a good cause; made reference to the number of Luton Town FC shirts in the crowd and how much he loves the Hatters too! He then introduced 'Maniac' Matt Savage and Aphrodite as his new bodyguards, which drew Jim Brooks, Dan Edge, & Melicious to the ring to seemingly challenge them to a fight. As soon as Staniforth told Savage and his valet that they were welcome to do something about this statement, Brooks and company made a quick and seemingly somewhat worried exit from ringside.

* The Players Club (Rich N' Famous & Kyle Kraze) defeated The New Wave Enforcers (Brian Braddock & Frantastic). One major shock that came out of this was the surprise attack on Frantastic, by 'Diamond' Damon Kruiz. Brian Braddock, although offered by Peter Staniforth the choice of any wrestler in the back he wanted to team with, since Frantastic was in no position to continue; took the brave and proud option of taking on the Players Club 1 on 2 and paid the price of defeat. But this wouldn't be the end of the situation with them, as we would find out later.

* Wheeler defeated Special Agent, and Stealth; in a triple threat match.

* Shabazz, The Red Haired Loon, & Micken defeated American Allstar w/ Miss Vicky, Lucian w/Chelsey Karter, & Rolling Aikeda in a 6 man tag match.

* 'Wonderkid' Jonny Storm defeated Ashe, in what was considered by many the 'Match of the Night', and also one of the best matches in PTW's history so far. Storm took the microphone after, to an audience that adores him; and spoke of how he loves working for Power Trip Wrestling. And just for the record, we love Jonny too!

* 'Diamond' Damon Kruiz was victorious over Seb Drea, with Bacardi in his corner.

* In an LDN guest match, Johnathon Hardwick beat Stevie Lee.

* Whilst it was originally non-title, and in what ended up becoming for the PTW Hardcore Title, with the Hair VS Beard stipulation; Jim Brooks (with Dan Edge) became the PTW Hardcore Champion for the second time by defeating Leon X (with PTW Owner Peter Staniforth). This one was outrageous, and in probably the biggest reaction from the fans without a doubt all night, Peter took the microphone during the match and said three words that at first caused confusion and then utter hilarity - 'Victoria....get him!'. At this point, Peter's 4 year old daughter Victoria came from the crowd and put Jim Brooks in an armbar that she calls the 'Woo-Lock', as Brooks tapped out madly. Due to it being outside of the ring, the match continued; and Leon X would eventually lose consciousness and Jim Brooks would become the new PTW Hardcore Champion! Staniforth would go on to say that he the only thing he hates more than Jim Brooks and Dan Edge is Watford FC, and that at next month's show Jim Brooks and Leon X would be forced to team together in a bid to end this once and for all!

* In the TLC Match (with the UKPW Tag Team Titles on the line), The Sky Hi Xpress faced off against Beer Fuelled Violence (with Stella). This match ended in utter controversy, for two reasons. The first was the injuries to Dan Ryder (foot) and Arkangel (back). Due to the severity of Arkangel's injury, the match was ruled a no-contest; and to add to it, the team known as 'Mean and Green' - Anton Green and Maverick - ran out and quite literally stole the UKPW Tag Team Titles. A furious PTW Owner came out, and stated that Green and Maverick would pay the price for their antics; and be forced to take on Jim Brooks and Leon X at the next show in August!

* And in the Invitation Only rumble, the man that came out on top and showed that the Players Club couldn't hold him down; was Brian Braddock. As an exhausted Braddock celebrated an extremely hard earned victory that he could treasure, Peter Staniforth came out, hugged Braddock, and declared him the winner. He also declared all the fans winners for coming out to support the Breakthrough Breast Cancer cause, the wrestlers in the back winners for donating their time free of charge for the show, and his fiancee' Chrissie and her sister Jennie winners for the future participation in the Walk for Breakthrough Breast Cancer in September in London.

* PTW will be back on Friday August 17th, at Luton Rugby Club, Newlands Road, Luton! Matches will be announced soon, and keep checking back at http://www.powertripwrestling.co.uk and http://www.ptwshop.co.uk for more!
