Guest Clarkey
Is it true that the Wii works with the DS Wifi Adaptor? I have read around and it seems the case but wondered if anyone had tested it first hand. Two more days to wait until I get my mitts on mine. Guest A.C.
A question for those who've got their Wii online already: If I buy one of THESE my Wii should be able to connect to it, shouldn't it? Or THIS ONE? Will I need a dongle plugged into the Wii to make it work? [EDIT] Or will the DS DONGLE do the job as well? Edited December 23, 2006 by A.C. wyndorf 389
The Wii has wireless built in, so you do not have to plug anything into the console itself. All we have is a wireless router. I'm pretty sure you could eliminate the need for a router by having the Nintendo dongle thing, although never having done it myself I couldn't be more than 99% sure. Guest c0ma
You can use the DS Wifi dongle as that's what I've been using. Took a while to get it working though.
Guest ahsatan
Well, I'm knackered! I did the Wii sports fitness thing and came out with an age of 45! Laugh you may, but it's massively better than wyndorf's! :lol Also whilst playing, he claimed he was only losing because he couldn't see the screen... Now, the TV is wall mounted, 3 feet from him and 37". The excuse seems unfounded! Mind you, as a side note, he did kick my ass during the boxing. Guest A.C.
I was 50 the first (and only) time I did the fitness doo-dad. Tomorrow I buy the DS Dongle. For now I have chicken and waffles in the oven and the bird sing outside my window. It's too late.

Guest Anime Otaku
try amazon or the like if you want one now other wise you could probably get one anywhere in the new year. third party sellers are really exploiting the demand on amazon though
Chris2K 176
Well now the Wii remote I have keeps cutting communication to the console every ten seconds. Brilliant. EDIT: OK, new batteries. Stop laughing at me. Edited December 25, 2006 by Chris2K
BRM 220
I had a go on a Wii the other night, played the Zelda game, to be fair it ws probably not the best game for me to try and would of liked to had a go on Wii sports. But after playing it i've decided to go for the 360.

Guest Clarkey
I've been hooked on Rayman. It's not the most amazing game out there, but the charm of the Rabbid's and how addictive some of the minigames are (if some are infuriating) makes up for it. Heading off to pick up another game most likely and a DS Dongle today.

Guest Anime Otaku
Might get Mario Kart whenever it gets added to the VC over here. Dunno when that could be though as R-type II was in the last update I think, and Alien Crush was in the one before that.
