My Problems!!!

Well Omar is back again with more problems.

 

1st is I'm about to sit my GCSE's very soon, and I have applied for college's but really I want to go staright to work with my Dad. After spending a lot of time today and working at home with my dad I become to bound with him and more and told him what I really wanted to do. My Dad is a builder (Carpenter exactly) and I would really like to go and work with him as his apperentice. He doesn't mind but would like me to go to college first before making any desions. But My Mum doesn't want to go to work with him and she wants to go to college and study to become a Sports Jouralist! I haven't told her yet, how should I go about it? I know she is going to go mad and make me go to College and not let me work with my Dad and my Dad is going to be the one who gets shot in the neck for it!

 

2nd is I haven't had a real girlfriend and I'm not so good with the ladies. I fancy a girl at my school and don't now how to ask her out. I not exactly friends with her in the sense as he talk alot, but I don't think she hates me or nothing. She is in my year and is really nice and good looking. How would I get her to notice me and How do I ask out her out?

 

3rd is I saw my Mates Girlfriend kissing another boy! She is in Year 9 and my mate is in the same year as me (Year 11). He is madly in love with this girl. My other mate is ready to tell him, what should I do?

 

4th is involuing another girl in year but the oppisite to two. She hates me and I hate her, but she is friend s with the girl I like. Should I try to settle it with her or stay true to my opinion of her being a stuck-up slut!

 

Finally 5th, I was friend with someone in my class since my very first day at school. We have been with each other since. He is my Best Mate but during last year we didn't really talk and he changed. He became a complete Knob, He started to act like he was some kind of bad man ganstar. he completly blanks me and we haven't speaken like we did for well over a year. I want to be his friend again but he is complete idiot, what should I do?

Pretend to settle it with her, she'll think your 'friends' but really you'll still hate her, just dont make her angry, if you do, you can kiss your future relationship with that girl you like goodbye im afraid.

OK, here goes...

 

1. I'd say work with your dad. The reason being is you say this is what YOU want to do. It's fantastic that you know this at your age, I'm thirty and I still haven't left my job as a quality inspector to do what I now know I want to do (veterinary nurse). It may cause upset, but you're the one that has to do this job for as long as you can, not your mum.

 

2. Probably not my place to say as I've never asked anyone out in my life, I've just waited until they did the asking! :lol

 

3. I'm tempted to say don't say anything because if they don't believe you, you're the one who loses out. But, you have the dilema of trying to stay quiet. Can you talk to her and tell her that if she doesn't come clean you will?

 

4. Stay true to your feelings, but don't be "nasty" to her. Just pass the time of day and be neither friends nor enemies.

 

5. From what you have said you no longer like him. Why be friends? As you grow up, you inevitably grow apart from some people. Sad but true.

Your mate is just trying to act hard to fit in with more popular guys he'll snap out of it eventually.

Well, first off it's really a "you" decision, so I'll let you decide question one.

 

Secondly, I'll agree with Ahsatan, I wait to BE asked...God knows it involves months of waiting, but one time it was worth it...

 

Third, I would sit back and enjoy that ride. Remember, there's nothing wrong with picking sides.

 

Fourth, ironically every girl I've ever "hated" I found myself constantly talking to, and when I fancied one of her friends, it actually became this funny "say good stuff about me" thing, but if your hate is more deep, a little palm greasing never hurt, either.

 

And finally, if your friend still refuses you, I'm sure you have some of his embarrasing stories from your years of friendship :D

Ok here is my Updates of my problems, for those that are interested:

1) Well I told my mum and she wasn't too pleased. We had a heated argument over the whole thing and haven't spoken since!

2) Turns out this girl is a slut and I hate that in girls. She was kissing a load of boys at a party I heard, I saw the pics too.

3) We found out by my mate and dumped her.

4) Still didn't talk to her

5) Well he said I changed into a geek! Because I liked wrestling too much made me a geek then. No know else seems to care I have a hobbie unlike that plum.

Indeed, as a tradesman myself I would agree with Wyndorf and urge you to do this if it's what you want, you will earn good money and have a job for life. Granted a top Sports Journalist would earn more money, but if your hearts not in it how far will you go? As Wyndorf say's people don't want to get into these trades anymore, which means more work and money to go round for those of us that are.

 

As for your 'best mate', i'd be inclined to smack him in the face, if that's not your style just ignore him back, maybe if he realises you don't care about him he'll try and talk to you, if not no big loss, he sound's like a *****.
