Guest Slim Jim
It means Microsoft want to rip you off by making you pay a subscription to play online.
Guest The Beltster
Let me simplify this: Does EVERY 360 come with a pre-paid card in the box or not?
Guest Andrew
No, there shouldn't be a 360 prepaid card in the box. Now regarding XBOX Live Marketplace. It all depends on what you're doing. If you're setting up an XBOX Live and want to pay for the Subscription cost (Yearly, 3 Monthly and Monthly) you can use the cards from Game, Play.com etc. Or you could just pay by Debit/Credit Card. Now if you want to get microsoft points to be able to download XBOX Live arcade games you will need a seperate pre-paid card for that as well or once again pay by debit card. So if it's always asking for a pre-paid card while your trying to download something it probably means your out of Microsoft points and wants you to buy more. Sounds like Sony is going to be doing the same as well though. We'll see what happens with that situation soon enough.

Guest The Beltster
Thanks for all the info guys, appreciated. I would like to download a bunch of the arcade games like Pool and so on, but Pool is what? 1200 points? Thats gonna cost me a ton to buy one crappy game. The yearly cost of XBox LIVE is a bargain, the price of Microsoft points is a rip off.
