Who should take the title off Cena?

it should be Edge! he's the top guy right now, seeing cena beat hhh over and over is wrecking the game. i would like to see a cena-hbk feud and 1 last title run for hbk.

Yeah I agree with Edge. He has the look of a star, I love his in ring work, he's good on a mic, and his three week reign as WWE Champion was very succesful. Give him another chance to run with the ball I say.

I said RVD, I would like to see a fresh face take the title and I think RVD is that face, he doesn't have to hold if for ages (like Cena and HHH always seem to) but give him a 6 month run or so and I think it would do wonders from him and the company.

He sells shedloads of merchandise and is the most over person in the whole company.

 

The fans react to Cena like they have no other in the history of wrestling - it's really great to see and his matches have so much heat.

 

So I say leave it on him for now, until WWE for some reason listens to the Smarks and turns him heel.

I would torlarate Edge or HHH or even Carlito (far too soon for him though) or Kane. However I would like to see RVD as the next World Raw champ.

And he deserves it. Up until towards the end of last year, i never bought into his character and promo's. I've never thought he was anything special in the ring but as of late he has really stepped it up a gear and is getting some genuine heel heat because of it

 

An RVD title reign would bore me to death as i hate a silent champion. What would be worse if he actually tried to speak - Khali aint got s*** on RVD when in comes to rubbish stick skills

I'm talking about the WWE version of RVD, with promo's written for a WWE audience that he simply cannot deliver with any credibility

 

I have seen some of his promos in ECW, and that is what he's all about. RVD simply has the skills for an ECW audience, but for me, not WWE

Hmm... I had a good think about this while I ate my chocolate bar and,as much as i mostly loathe Edge, I would like to see him take it off Cena. Second to him, RVD.

The guy is the best heel in the whole of the WWE right now and his 3 week run with the belt in January was pathetic, i'm not actually sure why they gave him the belt for him only to drop it back to Cena less than a month later.

 

The only other options on RAW are HHH and Shawn Michaels, in my opinion.

 

I like the way they have tried to build-up to H3's inevitable next reign, although i believe that has something to do with Tripper's alleged comments about Kurt Angle being the main reason why Cena was getting booed during their fued. I think Hunter wants to prove something to Angle.

 

As for HBK, well i think he deserves a title reign to be honest and he can still go as a main eventer.

 

I'm sure we will see one more reign for HBK before he calls it a day.

JBL is the best heel in the WWE right now, not Edge. JBL gets amazing heat during his promos. Edge doesn't get nearly half as much and also has terrible credibility after tapping out and losing to Cena time and time again.

I think you're right about JBL being the best heel in the WWE, but Edge is the best on Raw without a doubt. 3rd place goes to Booker T.

He has tapped out to Cena, been pinned by Cena AND pinned by Edge.....so does that make him worse than Edge?????

 

 

I agree with JBL though....he is rocking the house like a main-event heel should....and he is trying his best to get boos, and get Rey cheers.....even going so far as to point out the crowd don't actually chant for Rey, in the hope that they would.

Not worse, it makes him equal...right now. Cena's basically been over-booked to the point where RAW's other two top contenders, HHH and Edge, look completely useless. At least HHH has beaten the best in the past though. The way Edge is jobbing in the main event scene you would have to wonder why he's in it in the first place.

Seriously though, RVD would seem like a good choice, but where do you go from there if he wins the title? If they start up ECW, they need RVD in that. Do you give him the WWE title to put over ECW, and have him work both shows? Or have him dump the WWE title and say he prefers the ECW one to put it over that way?

 

Him taking the title and then losing it again isn't going to help many people out.

I suspect RVD might well get the revived ECW title. Thus keeping the "smarks" happy. But i do agree with the points being made about Edge's booking, he has the tools, so why make him look like a jackass? They elevate him to main event level, have a crap booking period and wonder why people dont take him seriously as a championship contender? Bah. As much i'm liking Trips work at the moment, i do agree, in the interests of freshness (and im curious to see if Edge would raise his game further). Edge should get the belt off Cena.

They could give the soinny belt to RVD then that becomes the ECW title, of course he drops the spinny bit and makes it a more ECW belt, then Vince does some sort of promo saying that ECW will never have WWE title and so has another made and given to HHH or the winner of soem sort of 3 way dance would work for me, that way ECW has its own belt and so does Raw and then everyones happy :)
