Guest Marc McCann
i love rey and think he deserves his chance to be champ and feel sad for him that he is getting booed. it's not as if he's like cena and can't wrestle. his promos aren't great but neither were big dave's. he can work with almost anyone, putting him against mark henry and the crap khali is killing him, i can't see anything other than jbl bein givin the strap. he works hard and is great in the ring, i'd let him keep it for a while and feud with a heel angle or benoit

His promos were from the heart but yeah he's not really a 'talker' (whatever that means anyway) so they came across a bit limp. Putting him against bigger men can work, not convinced it is mind. David VS Golitah (sp?) always works. Cena Can wrestle, his character just is not booked that way.
Guest Mr Kennedy
Yes.. The WWE have gone about his push so wrong..he isnt a beleiveable heavyweight champion. How many times do you hear Michael Cole call him an underdog in 2 hours? He can have good matches. All the referencing to Eddie as well doesn't help, as he can't go anywhere without Eddie's name been chanted at him. He shouldn't be getting booked against people like Khali and Henry, it is killing him. Oh and my mouth dropped when he was about to opnely admit to nearly tapping out to Angle. He looks weak. Rey has been working through a knee injury as well, he needs surgery apprently, however despite all my critisim, I would keep the belt on him until Batista gets back, as there is a fued waiting there becaus they have good chemistry together. Guest Down In Albion
I'm certain Rey Mysterio will defeat JBL at Judgment Day ~ actually i'm quite shocked at how many people have said it's basically certain that Bradshaw will relieve him of the gold. I like Rey as champion, you can only play the underdog without winning anything major for so long, in my opinion. If they start booking Rey as champion properly, as an underdog yes but without all the 'miracle champion/Eddie Guerrero' nonsense, then the fans will take to him again. Although the booing isn't near the scale of the John Cena hostile fan response.
Guest Kanenite
It's a pity but i'd take the title off him. He has a good character, his Wrestling skills are great and he gets booed for it. It is really sad that Rey gets boo'd, I have a lot of respect for the man and think others do aswell. But all in all it hasn't been so far an amazing run as champ for Rey, and he hasn't even had a proper cheer for himself. The Eddie chants are silly now, I think the WWE are sick of them to be honest, they get JBL to say how they won't cheer for Rey, it's nice to see his memory live on but we should remember him in our own minds. Guest Mr Kennedy
The Eddie chants are silly now, I think the WWE are sick of them to be honest As long as the WWE are making money from references to Eddie G, they will never get bored..
Murph 93
If they think it isn't benefiting their shows/wrestlers, they'll try and stop it.

Murph 93
By entertaining the fans...
Guest MrFill
I wouldn't have put it on him in the first place - he's far too small to be considered a real threat to anyone. Anytime he beats a much bigger guy, he always looks like he was lucky rather than he was capable of beating them cleanly.
Guest Figure 4
He is getting booed on some episodes of Smackdown as of late, I'm guessing the same thing could happen with Mysterio what happened to Cena - fans getting bored of babyfaces. Personally I would take the title off him at Judgment Day, he's done "the fairytale" and won at 'Mania, now Smackdown needs a solid champion. Chris2K 176
Yes, but only because I want JBL as World Champion.
Guest Danny Styles
i don't think giving the title to JBL is the answer at all, JBL's last run as champ made him the worst drawing champ ever, and i still can't buy him as champ Honestly i blame WWE for the way Rey has been portrayed, i'd have made him take on everyone everytime but actually beat the big guy or at least not get squashed every week like a jobber, WWE have capitalized on his ties with Eddie and made his character so cheesy the fans turn against him, i still cheer him, he can wrestle cut a passable promo and is a good representive of smackdown
Guest Nemesis Enforcer
one word YES, Ok so more then one word then, I don't like Rey as champ, he looks out of place since all other big names are much larger then him, he is mismatched against all opponents unless they pushed some cruisers to title bracket, (which wont happen!) the fans are fedup of him and I think JBL would make a great champ again, look at his last run with the title, it was entertaining and the crowd responded to it, so he'd get the belt if I were in charge
Guest Thirteen
No but only if the way he's being booked changes(not bloody likely). I have to admit I have somewhat warmed to the JBL character over the last couple of months due to his great promos, interviews etc... But then he gets in the ring.:lol
Guest Slim Jim
worst drawing champ ever I would have thought that was Nash, but he had a chart to prove me wrong, so you might be right.
Guest Chriscare
Sure i'd take the title off Rey, i'm like a foot taller, i'd kick his arse
Guest tazz xtreme
Yes i would take the title of Rey but give it to mr Kennedy(when hes fit), as i cant see who JBL would feud with that would bring something new to watch.
DC 536
I would give it to JBL.....he can carry the title, his promos are gold and he is trying his damndest to get the fans to chant "Rey", but the fans aren't buying it. I agree booking him against Khali and Henry is so wrong it hurts....and to lose clean to Mark Henry does him no favours after squeking past Angle the week before. If Rey does retain against JBL at Judgement Day, they're gonna have to book him a little stronger, at least until Dave, Orton et al are back from their respective leaves-of-absence. I have a niggling feeling that JBL will win the title at JD, Lashley will win the KotR at the same event...leading to a match (or series of matches) for the belt. Nothing against Lashley, but he is not ready for that yet, and the support he has gained from the fans so far would evaporate if he was made champ. I would have Booker T win the KotR, his promos would be awesome, and then have him go over Rey for the belt at a later date.
Guest MrFill
JBL needs to drop the US title if he's going to get the World - I'd say have a match before the PPV where Rey costs him the belt, giving JBL something to take "revenge" on.

Guest rawiswar
I'd like to see JBL grab it at JD.
Guest MrFill
Here's an interesting idea - make it 2 falls, the first decides the US, the second decides the World. Rey pins JBL with a sneaky roll-up, but JBL slaughters Rey with the Clothesline From Heck. Swap the belts around.
Guest Chriscare
I'm sticking with my theory of JBL holding both belts, RVD announcing he'll take on JBL at One Night Stand, JBL coming to raw and costing RVD the IC belt, RVD coming to Smackdown and costing JBL the US belt.
