Are there any details regarding possible channels and broadcast details for the new ECW? Also are Sky TV gonna carry it in the UK.

ECW is replacing Velocity.

In the UK, Sky Sports will be airing it at the times when Velocity would have been on.

I'm not sure what channel it will be shown on in the States, but I think it will be a webcast to start off with.

I don't think anyone knows for sure yet.

I would assume that once TV is sorted out for ECW, SKY won't pick it up right away, will probably take a few months I would think.

Ideally they'll pick it up right away and run it unedited tho!

Probably not if it replaces Velocity - seeing as Velocity is a teatime show over here (barring Monday night)

Well I'm really not sure what they're gonna do with the ECW timeslot on Sky over here in the UK.

On one hand it may not air at all, but on the other, surely they will as they are in contact with WWE with all their other programmes and as this ECW is under WWE, I would think the new ECW will certainly get a slot on Sky Sports, and in a seperate slot I would think as ECW will contain a lot more violance than Velocity.

But yeah, I sure hope it gets a slot on Sky, it should. Actually, going back years ago, didn't the original ECW have a slot on Bravo over here in the UK, or one of the similar channels? I know WCW was on Bravo if I remember correctly but I also remember watching ECW one time on Sky TV aswell.

There's no point in SKY running it if it's a teatime show, they wouldn't be able to show a good percentage of the show.

Sky shows Velocity late Sundays and Mondays.

They could just heavily edit the tea time showing - like they edit the tea time showing of Raw too.

looks like they're going to put ECW on instead of RAW A.M

wich is bad news for ECW fans in the UK Becuase we dont get RAW A.M, unless Sky One moves Expierence to a later time slot and put ECW instead of that.

hope so becuase the UK nees to be taken to the EXTREME!

Er where does it say anything about ECW in that statement about moving AM Raw to a different timeslot. Am I missing something? ECW replaces Velocity, thats been the plan all along.

Maybe this will enlighted the sistuation a little more :)

While early reports indicated that WWE was planning to have ECW as an internet-only show, it is now felt within the company that for the re-launch of the promotion to be a success, they need some sort of TV outlet.

From what we can gather, the main slot being looked at right now for ECW is the 2:00 A.M. replay of RAW A.M. USA Network’s schedule recently got updated, and starting in June they list that timeslot as “TBA”.

Vince McMahon reportedly does not want to add another day of TV tapings to their heavy schedule as he feels that two per week is enough. However, many think it would be a very bad idea to have the ECW shows taped before Smackdown, which at one point was the dead set plan.

As far as we can tell, WWE does still plan to go ahead with ECW touring around the country to all the same venues they used to in Philadelphia, New York, Florida, Southern California, and other hot spots for the company.
