Guest Dickie Hyde
Ok, First of all beards: I've heard that you can have your beard kept in condition at a barbers. Is this true? You would have to attend, once a week? And how much are you looking at for it? Second, is the most common form of beauty alike, the cucumba over the eyes job refresh. What's it actually called? Where would you go to get this kind of thing done? How much are you looking at, and how common is it amongst men? Manicure's and pedicure's are now how common amongst men? Regards, Dickie
Guest MrFill
I've heard that you can have your beard kept in condition at a barbers. Is this true? You would have to attend' date=' once a week? And how much are you looking at for it?[/quote'] Yes, you can - depending on the barber, they should be able to recommend how often you go to see them - they'll trim it, put oils into it and basically make sure that it looks good and the hair is in good condition. Second' date=' is the most common form of beauty alike, the cucumba over the eyes job refresh. What's it actually called? Where would you go to get this kind of thing done? How much are you looking at, and how common is it amongst men? [/quote'] Cucumbers on the eyes are fairly common (especially for the Metro or Gay guys) as it moistens the skin around the eyes - if you wanted to, you could try it yourself, but I'd say to get to Body Shop and ask them about some creams to use on your eyes - it's more expensive, but it'll be worth it. Manicure's and pedicure's are now how common amongst men? Again, more popular with the Metro or Gay guys, but women seem to LOVE a guy who has well looked after hands, and you don't have to tell them that you have a manicure. :P
Guest Dickie Hyde
Russ keep out... Anyone know what your looking at price-wise for each? And what's the whole cucumber deal actually called?

Just let it grow in hobo style, then shave everything apart from the chin once it's grown in for that definitive Snitsky look. It worked for me. Also, the cucumber thing is called a "prawn cocktail". Guest The Crippler
People under 25 shouldn't have beards unless they can grow proper facial hair. If yer 17 and you can grow proper facial hair then fair play to you, I can only just about grow proper facial hair now. It worked for me. My mrs was horrified when I told her my goatie wouldn't be going until it's Snitsky style! Also, Dickie is there something you aren't telling us? I mean first the Triple H stuff, then long hair, now beards, cucumbers and nail treatment. Is it possile that you've got a desire to look like a bearded lady carrying a sledgehammer? Guest Dickie Hyde
Funny, who said I wanted this stuff, it was a few questions? :P Crippler, its not the point if I can grow prope facial hair yet, it was just a point of question, but 25, that's cool. Nimf 324
Russ keep out... Anyone know what your looking at price-wise for each? And what's the whole cucumber deal actually called? Don't bother with the cucumbers themselves-get yourself along to Boots and buy the cucumber facial wipes they have. They cost around £2 per pack but are often on offer. They smell lovely, are really refreshing and clean your face at the same time. Plus as all your doing is wiping your face, you will look way less moronic than having cucumber on your eyes... Nimf 324
Ok.....Ok' date=' i was talking to Dickie about this in MSN.......is it weird for men to get there legs waxed?[/quote'] Depends on why... And depends on the legs... I mean, there's nothing more disturbing than a man who gets his legs waxed but doesnt show them off-makes you wonder why he had them done... I would say men should only get them waxed for sporting reasons...
Guest MoIJohnnyLee
I've had my legs waxed, my girlfriend done it for me, it didn't really hurt, just the initial shock then it's gone. I was waxing them because I swam alot, and wet hair on legs looks really bad lol Never tried any of the other treatments, but whatever man. It's a strange world, I'm gonna say go and try it. But if you come back saying "My hands are so soft, my legs are lovely" etc, we're gonna have to stay away for a while :P
Guest Dickie Hyde
JohnnyLee, that sounds like a fair deal, dont critisize until its done! :D but in fairness I know the people on the TWO boards, and I made this thread knowing i'd be slated... just take it all on the chin :)
Paul 584
Waxing is easy....until you hit the 90min mark. THATS when the pain kicks in.
Guest The Beltster
I have a beard, I trim it and keep it looking neat myself, I shave it into various styles and shapes when I feel like a change. There is no point in going and having a barber do it for a cost when you can keep it neat and tidy yourself for free. Just buy a decent set of beard clippers with grades and so on and you will be fine.
Guest MrFill
As for leg waxing - I had it done MANY years ago when I was cycling lots - it feels a lot different when you're riding along with bare legs. :)
Guest MojoPogo
I only find it sore when im getting my back done. I got fed up of people shouting "SHAVE YOUR BACK" frankly........

The type that snag your stockings... phwoar! ;)
Nimf 324
Try hair removal cream-pain free... I would NEVER wax any part of my body EVER again... Did my legs a few years back, never again. I did, however, have the pleasure of waxing the chest and back of a guy who my boyfriend of the time cheated on me with... That was a LOT of fun...
