Prediction for next years Royal Rumble

Assuming they're both still around, and injury-free, who thinks this is a dead-cert for the RR, leading to a WM match?

 

 

Mid-way through the Rumble, the ring is filling up when The Great Khali's music hits, and he comes out and clears the ring of all the guys, one by one, dominating, with the announcers putting over how surely no-one can stop this guy etc.

 

Once the ring is cleared, he waits, as the crowd countdown the 10 second timer and the buzzer goes, and the music hits: "Weellll it's the Big Show!!"

 

Big Show comes out and they stand toe-to-toe as the crowd mark out.

 

 

 

I know people like to hate on big guys, but let's face it, those two could have the crowd marking out just by looking at each other, in a way that cruiserweights never could. I think it'd be a really cool moment in the rumble, and it'd be cool to see the two biggest guys in WWE square off.

 

What's everyone else think? Likely to happen?

Honestly, that probably would be a good moment. I just hope Khali isn't around long enough to be in the Royal Rumble.

 

Just for the heck of it, I'll go ahead and pick my Rumble winner now:

 

Shelton Benjamin.

 

True, I'm picking more with my heart than my brain, but it is possible.

 

I'd love to see a World Championship match between ole Shelton and HBK. Maybe even throw in a ladder as part of the feud. Twould be great.

 

Shelton: HBK, we all know you were the King of the Ladder Match....twenty frickin' years ago! You're over the hill, I'm the most athletic man in the WWE AND the new master of the ladder! And I'll prove it on the biggest stage of them all!

Yup, see the "Worst Potential Matches" for how much people think of that prospect. :P

 

 

Just think, because Khali is so tall, as soon as he stands near the ropes, a couple of high hits, like dropkicks, and he'd just fall backwards over the ropes. :P

I think it would be a great moment, but it would lead to some truly dreadful offense. Although I've always been a fan of the Big Show.

 

I'm going to say that Lashley is going to win the Rumble next year, providing they give him the SuperPush.

It's extremely likely to happen in a similar format to that, since Big Show Vs Kahli is no doubt going to happen at Wrestlemania 23. And you're right that the crowd will no doubt be wild when they go face to face...

I think Shawn Michaels will win the Rumble next year in front of his hometown fans, and then go on to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 23 against HHH.

 

HBK hasn't been Champion since Survivor Series 2002 for all of a month, and Im sure most fans wouldnt begrudge this popular superstar another title reign.

You see I could see that hapenning. With the rumors of D-X reforming and all, they extend their program till December or something like that and have a similar thing like they had with Batista and HHH with HBK going face and HHH going heel.

 

And then have the big blow out match at WM 23.

I think the Possible winners for nexts years Rumble are Lashley, Benjamin or Carltio. I like all 3 so i'll be happy. But I also think HBK may have one-last run with the ball so to speak and go out and win.

the two big men facing of works well for a mark out moment, the best example of that would be Batista facing of against Kane, either in a battle royal on raw or in the Rumble 2005

 

i think next year in the rumble you'll see Lashley do well but fall short

 

maybe just maybe number 30 will be Lesnar :P you never know

I just thought of something. How about HBK enters at #1 and Harry Smith enters at #2. And well, yeah.

 

I can see HBK winning the Rumble. But what about Cena? Maybe Cena wont be champ and he will win the Rumble.

 

And HBK can be the Champ for Cena to face.

 

It will be like a rehash of Wrestlemania 14. By then Cena could be a good anti-hero.

 

And if DX is still around at Wrestlemania time. All we'll need is Mike Tyson.

 

Then HBK vs Cena with Mike Tyson as the Special Ringside Enforcer.

 

 

Maybe all that is going a little too far. Anyway, if Cena isnt the champ then I can totally see him winning the Rumble. And since it's San Antonio, HBK could win the Rumble in his home town. Go to Mania and face Cena.

 

Boy, that's got a lot of HBK in it.

 

Other contenders to win the Rumble could be Kurt Angle, Undertaker, Big Show, or a surprise entrant.
