Nimf 324
It looks fairly warm, i'm going to get the kids and i'm not wearing a jacket... EDIT: Ok went out and by lord it's broiling! I had a long sleeve top on and, being sensible, took it off to tie around my waist, only to remember too late that i have a bright red top with "Wales" emblazoned on it... I had a few choice looks from a very English bunch of parents at the school grounds... Yeah, smart move, Becky, well done...I'll be baracadding the windows tonight, just incase... Guest Hemme
Yup & I've been working in it all day, so I'm burnt now, hate that. Still, way better than all the rain we've been having. I expect a hosepipe ban by weekend.

Guest Kanenite
It's a gorgeous day, last time I checked it was 27 degrees! Amazing really but finally we get some sun! I've been on the field at dinner so it was nice to get around a bit more.
Guest Gemsi
It's so nice to be warm again. As much as I dislike being all hot and sweaty. I hate being cold and shivery much more. I want a barbecue, I need a barbecue. But lack of barbecue and mardy bf means I can't have one..........grrrrr........ I'm looking forward to getting a tan this year, the last 2 years I've been on antibiotics that make me photosensitive, so I've not been aloud out. This years gonna be different, so we need some more sun! BTW can anyone explain, why my fridge has been on the same temp all over winter with no problems, but now the weathers heating up it's starting to freeze things. It makes no sense:? Chris2K 176
It was boiling, before the rain. My choice of a long sleeved shirt and jeans? THAT'S NOT WISE.
Guest The Crippler
I'm glad you all had some good weather. It's been dull all day here. Infact at half past 12 today it seemed like it was the evening - it was that dark. We've had thunder storms most of the evening and half the town is without electricity. My area is fine though. JobberJoe 108
We were at the heart of a HUGE Thunder storm... the local ASDA in Govan got hit by lkightning and had it's roof blown out just above the bakery section... Gill was down there when it happened! Seriously... wow, I was just down there and didn't notice anything... meh... nothing unusual there ! ! Was too busy buying treats for my six hour bus trip tomorrow to Scarborough (woooo ! Sorry). Weather today ? Uncomfortably warm for most of the day before the storm hit. Was seriously raining for a good while with thunder and lightening. Went out to the Asda when it seemed to calm down a bit and it started back up. By the time we got outside it must've calmed back down as it sounded MUCH worse in the car. Scotland's weather... who says you can't beat it ?
