Are you a traditional matching clothes kinda person? Or do you wear what you like? Or do you match different brands without noticing?

This is a question i've always thought about, so thought i'd post here. I'm the kind of person that likes to match, but the weird thing is, I dont really. When I'm smartly dressed, I like matching suits etc... but as for casual clothing, right now I'm wearing a Nike t-shirt, Adidas 3/4 lengths, and Lacoste trainers. When you think of it like that, you think "euuugh" but when you look at it, you dont really notice. I've also always been told "blue and green must never be seen" but looking at some recent holiday photos, I wore blue jeans with a green t-shirt, and it didnt look like there was anything wrong with it to me. (but i didn't notice the colours i was wearing at the time. if you get me :oops_

Which one are you? And what have you noticed about the way you/other people dress, does it bother you? Stories will be cool to hear.

Cheers,

Dickie

I HATE non-matching clothes, if i put some Nike trousers on i HAVE to wear a Nike top, if i dont have a Nike top then i'll have to wear something different, obviously. Edited by Ryan

I'm not usually that interested in clothes. I like to look smart and all but I'm not obsessive. Until yesterday, this is.

I decided I needed a new suit for the summer so I went to Next at lunchtime and spent about £300. Got some brown linen trousers (which I'm really appreciating on a hot day like today), brown leather shoes, a camel-coloured long corduroy jacket, a few shirts on a white/brown check theme, and a belt. So I look the SHIV today. :)

Clothes are clothes as long as they look good and keep me warm, I dont really care if they match. :)

I wear whatever is comfortable - sometimes they match, othertime they don't a bit, but I don't care as long as I feel good in them.

I do like to try and look smart if I'm going out for a night out, but if I'm just pootling about the town in the day time, I don't really care. I do like to avoid blue and green, I'll only wear green shirts with black or khaki trousers.

Wow, and who said the chav society didn't have rules :D

I'm not fussed with what I wear. I have a uniform I wear 5 days a week so I don't spend much on clothes any more. I put my money towards funky trainers instead!

Exactly that, when I have to I'll try to scrub up as best I can, otherwise I couldn't give a monkeys.

On a night out I'll usuall put on a nice shirt & pants, but when I'm mooching about I'll throw on a pair of trackies & a footie top or hoodie, not a fusser with brands, never have been, if my trackies & top dont match it's no fuss to me.

Pftt I dont think really applies to girls unless they wear tracksuits. The only time I would match is if it was some kind of couture or a two-piece outfit anyway.

I don't really care. Not that many of my clothes match but they look nice so as long as I look ok I don't care wether they match or don't. At the minute i'm wearing black Adidas trousers and a blue le coq sportif top and they look fine. Edited by Kanenite

Most days I just wear what I want to wear, I try to match stuff, but it doesn't work very well. If I decide I'm gonna go all gothyficated, I match everything pink and black right down to my accesories and underwear:O

Right now I'm wearing a matching pink tracksuit thing, as I've been painting, and now just wanna chill out and sleep.

I never try to match brands as it just looks too chavtastic. The only thing I own branded anymore really is my pink nike tracksuit bottoms, which look ace with my spud t-shirt, and defionately don't need to be matched with anything else Nike.

I'm quite concious of what I wear. I don't wear any brand stuff, I find most brand stuff to be rather ugly. Having said that, I'm not really that aware of what goes with stuff and what doesn't.

I just were what i think is ok, on a weekend it mayby my cord trousers and a checked shirt etc...

When im just chilling in the house on a night or whenever im in, then i might just were trackies and a t-shirt

I dont think it matters if your clothes match or not as long as you feel comfatable and are happy with yourself Fu*k what other people think just do what you want to is my motto

But only in moderation, i wouldnt go out in a thundercats top and pink trackies and a pair of slippers (damm i just admited to my trend :lol)

If I'm going out I just try to match colours. Pink shoes go with pink stripe on top, goes with pink socks, goes with pink bracelet. Just little things like that.

Exhibit A: Today I was just popping upo the town to pick up my comics, and I had on: Blue denims; Yellow T-Shirt and a grey Houston Astros baseball jersey (#22, Clemens, fact fans).

I'm a man in fashion, me. In fact, one day, fashion is gonna go so nutty that I will be the most fashionable man in town. Then all you little people will be sorry...
