WWE/ECW looking at more outside talent/Taz news

– PWInsider is reporting that there is talk of WWE bringing in outside indy talent for the new ECW from companies such as ROH and CZW.

 

– Taz was offered a wrestling spot in the new ECW, however due to his neck problems he won’t be taking it. Taz has always been a perfectionist and likely wouldn’t want to get back into the ring unless he could do it well.

 

Just to update on ECW and the talent they are looking for

Heh awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing guys like Colt Cabana, Bryan Danielson, Jimmy jacobs, Claudio Castagnoli, Chris Hero, B-Boy, Kevin Steen, Super Dragon, Mike Quackenbush, Arrogance (I love those guys, they're hilarious) and alot of indy talent would be great.

Is Quackenbush back out of retirement now? I know he did retire, but then he came back for a show, which was supposed to be a one off - Is it a fulltime comeback? I really his work actually. Of all the people in CZW, i's only really him and Bobby Quance who I enjoy watching - Probably 'cause CZW is f*cking horrible.

 

As for Super Dragon, or Kevin Steen, they are abysmal. Sure, they know the fancy moves, and head drops, but both still haven't got the basics right. Every transitional move they do, is horrendous. Same for Chris Hero aswell, but he can work a crowd, which helps, and which seperates him from Dragon or Steen.

 

I'd hate Danielson to be in ECW though. He is a fantastic wrestler, who should be in the WWE putting on matches with Benoit, or even William Regal, not ECW. I do actually see him staying in ROH, and other indies though. He is too big a talent to have to go to ECW for financial reasons.

hmmm......Yeah I like Bobby Quance he is cool, he has a great SSP. I enjoy Steens work though, I would say Hero is a good wrestler. I would like to see maybe B-Boy in ECW it woud be cool i would like Homicide too but yeah he's with TNA they wont allow him

I'm not sure what kind of contract he has, though he is currently unhappy with the way he has been treated, so maybe we will see 'Cide in ECW one day. He's a good wrestler, with a fantastic, legit gimmick, and could be a huge star, if given the chance. TNA can't book sh*t, so if he does get annoyed with them, I think he will be on his way to ECW.

 

I'd love to see Ricky Reyes aswell. Aside from having a killer gimmick, he is a damn good wrestler, and with Julius Smokes, who is awesome, is a fantastic prospect. If you look at some ex-ECW gimicks, and ones which could be recreated, you have got to look a Taz. A true success from ECW, who was majorly over, and did a great job in his role. If that position was to be filled again, it should be Reyes - He is everything Taz was, but more. For someone so talented, it's ridiculous no company has given him a chance.

Oh yeah Ricky is a quality wrestler, although i like Rocky more....Smokes' damn hillarious, i really like the rottweilers and adding B-Boy to the stable would really kick ass cus Cide', Low Ki and B-Boy are a faction in JAPW forgot the name though.

 

Yeah Reyes has the intesity of Taz, he is like a (no pun intended) a pitbull in there i like him he's cool. This could actually turn out to be a great thing if booked properly, and we know Heyman is one of the best bookers of all time, so it has the potential to be excellent.

im gutted we wont be able to see taz. although mixing fresh talent with ecw alumni will be very interesting. Shame Joe is in TNA he would be amazing
