I voted 1PW, because it's the only 'UK' show I've been too.

 

PLus I think with the development of 'Fight Club' it could give a lot of UK wrestlers the exposure they ned to become bigger stars.

There isn't really to many promotions in the UK. As every county doesnt have one. When you think about it having lots of promotions is better than only having a few as not many people would be able to wrestle. Not everyone have cars so its not always easy to travel to promotion. Having more means theres more chance people will be able to get there and withh have a choice of which is closer to them.

Future Championship Wrestling :) Best promotion in the UK Ive seen. All Star used to be good for seeing old favourites from WWE, but they dont come round here anymore, and despite being an employee of 1PW Ive only ever been to one Fan Slam event thats all

I can appreciate what FCW and the FWA did for Spud, but I don't think he would have worked those shows for ROH if he hadn't worked for 1PW.

He would have. He become a huge favourite months before 1PW came about. I have no doubt that Alex would have recommended him due to his FWA work. Remember who the ROH European scout is...

Nothing FWA didn't do though. 1PW didn't suddenly start the Spud craze like they're getting the credit for.

Oh I know, Im not that stupid to claim otherwise. However 1PW DID get Spud a lot of fans who normally wouldnt have given a damn about him (or British wrestling in general).

Yeah, 1PW got him a number of new fans. But the way RM is talking is like 1PW should get all the credit for Spud's current standing in wrestling, when they seriously shouldn't. FWA got him on TV, got him on more shows to bigger audiences, this at a time where FWA was as well known as 1PW is now. Plus, Alex Shane is FWA and he is the one who got Spud in ROH, which most people expected would happen anyway, before 1PW.

 

A guy like Darren Burridge would be a different story because 1PW have done quite a lot for him that others haven't, but not Spud.

I don't think I stated that 1PW started the Spud 'craze'.

 

All I said was 'Look at what it did for Spud!' - I was aware that he had been on TV before and had exposure with the FWa, I was saying in my original post that 1pw can give more exposure to British wrestlers.

 

I wasn't aware Alex was the ROH European scout but now I am, I would expect he would have been recommended sooner rather than later anyway.

EAW are my faves atm.

Just a decent quality show, packed out with fans. Nick works his balls off at it, and i have muchos respect for that.

Also RPW are good, NBW put on good wrestling and tis all for me.
