Guest The Impaler
Great news for a truly inspirational wrestler who has sacrificed his body for years. Here's hoping he gets an opportunity to shine used correctly. This should also help him to pay off some of those medical bills and give him the security he so rightly deserves. Let's also hope his body also stays together.
Guest MojoPogo
With EC Dubya being back and all, thats a massive booster! We have, a figurehead! Get New Jack, and Balls, and Mikey Whipwreck and Mike Awesome next please!
Nightfox 11
Amazing (if somewhat shocking) news
Guest Brad
Very shocking seeing that he was booked for Lockdown as well on his return, obviously the idea of Heyman and ECW swayed this decision and this has shown that many could do the same, I mean we all know Rhyno and Dudleys will be treated properly in the ECW brand type thing starting in september. Nightfox 11
True, this could be a majoy blow to TNA if they aren't careful, they could lose a handful of people.

Guest The B-Man
Sabu going to WWE was not a shock in the slightest. I am actually surprised he wasn't signed to a deal after last years ECW PPV. As for those in TNA I can't see Raven going or the Dudleyz for that matter. At the end of the day it will still be a WWE contract and Raven has stated he won't work for the WWE and the Dudleyz weren't exactly happy about losing the use of their name. Ryan 188
and the Dudleyz weren't exactly happy about losing the use of their name. But if they return to WWE, they'd be able to use their names againm which would make them happy, no? Edited April 25, 2006 by Ryan

Guest stevehayes2005
when do you think Sabu will debut on RAw olr Smackdown then ... ? Was he actually at Lockdown on Sunday?? Sabu is awesome I'd love to see him in a proper feud in WWE but will he be limited ... ? I'd love WWE to re-sign Mike Awesome - as genuine big man who can wrestlie to a high ability and also do high riskmoves. IMO a potential WWE championship contender if used right. Chris2K 176
Awesome retired last year. And I seriously doutb that Sabu will be doing anything (except ONS2) until ECW re-launches in September.
Guest Anime Otaku
Wasn't Awesome named as the ECW co-booker with Heyman? As for Sabu, good news indeed, TNA will be tearing their hair out a bit. Though I am surprised he was able to go, could he have been near the end of his contract?
Guest MrFill
TNA might have had Sabu on a show-to-show contract. If so, then the WWE nabbing him was good for them, if only for the name recognition for ECW. I think one of their problems with TNS (I refuse to call it ONE Night Stand) is that a lot of the old ECW stars are either in TNA, retired, or working abroad. Do you think that this will be a mostly WWE populated show?

But I have a feeling there will be ECW worker vs WWE worker matches, to fill up the card
Chris2K 176
Wasn't Awesome named as the ECW co-booker with Heyman? I think it's Tommy Dreamer.
Guest Al Stevens
Tommy Dreamer was going to help with the booking of the new ECW. Hopefully the WWE funded ECW will be able to get most of the band together back again. I mean as Mr P said if Team 3-D did come back they would be able to get the dudleys name back and also they would also feel like there more at home. Guest Dave7g
Sabu didn't have a contract, and was easy to sign. Team3D, Raven and Rhyno aren't going anywhere for at least a year. Although Team3D are way past it, and I would love to see the back of them. Brother Runt can stay.
Guest CoTT
Sabu's a garbage wrestler. I'm not wetting myself over this news.
Red05 343
I don't rememeber WWE have that good of a track record with Indy Wrestlers. C.M Punk? Frankie Kazarian? Never hired A.J Styes or Fallen Angel Daniels have they? I see Sabu doing nothing much.
Ryan 188
Ray, pretty much every wrestler comes from the Indies. Never hired A.J Styes or Fallen Angel Daniels have they? I believe both AJ & Daniels have both worked dark matches with WWE. Edited April 25, 2006 by Ryan
Red05 343
Ray, pretty much every wrestler comes from the Indies. I believe both AJ & Daniels have both worked dark matches with WWE. I mean like wrestlers who've always been in the indies and very popular there. WWE then signs them up ages later, and doesn't use the well, then they leave again. Doing dark matches isn't really being hired by the WWE.
Chris2K 176
AJ turned down a WWE contract. Which is why he's the luckiest guy on the planet. Not only because people mistakenly seem to think he's the second coming of Jesus Christ (not Aguilera) in the ring, but because he was in the right place at the right time as far as TNA's evolution goes. It's the fishes and ponds thing anyway. People like Punk were a big fish in the pond of the indies, but when they enter the WWE, they're just another small fish in the ocean of the WWE. Just because they're known on the internet does not make them a bona fide superstar in the WWE, and rightfully so. Guest Dave7g
Sabu was in WWF 10 years ago, and managed to fall off the big 'R' on the old Raw set.
