Guest Twig
this feud between LAX and the James gang is ridiculous. Don't you think a gang of Latinos would stab an old white guy who stood up to them, rather than have an arm wrestling competition with him? Guest Jack
I'm dissapointed the mystery opponent was Low Ki. I used to like him a fair bit, and I usually don't, but the politics with him, have put me off. His style doesn't interest me anymore. I've seen the stiff kicks, and flying moves for years, and he hasn't tried to improve in the slightest. His last brilliant match was againgst Samoa Joe, in Joe's ROH debut, in, I think 2002, and he has barely improved since then. He was great, and had a ton of potential, and now he doesn't stand out n the slightest anymore. Still, he'll be gone in TNA soon enough. I'm sure there will be another disagreement where money is concerned, not to mention how to get round house shows, and NOAH. The first match was pretty bad I thought. Way too much involved, for a short match. At least Rocky Romero got the pin though. Arm wrestling up next. Fantastic. No doubt LAX will be Bullet Bob's bitch once again. Yeah, that was horrible. I don't understand TNA. The 6 man elimination match was unessecarily bad. Some of the spots were good, and added to the match, and others were just idiotic. 20 or 30 seconds after Chase Stevens hits a SSP of the top of the cage, he is eliminated after the guy he landed on, Elix Skipper, uses his finisher. The finish was horrendous aswell. Why didn't Sabin throw himself to the floor when 'Canadian Bacon' caught him? Why didn't Williams jump to the floor either, when Sabin was trapped? Why didn't D'Amore let Williams go, when he had him on his shoulders? It's ridiculous how so many stupid things, can ruin a fairly good match. Joe/Sabu was too short, but an enjoyable match. 5 minutes or something was it? I was enjoying it, before it was cut short, but considering what Joe did last night, and I presume Sabu is legit injured, it's to be expected I suppose. Again, I don't see the logic in TNA's matches. Why have a botched finish, just to fit a table into a match, that will be barely used? What's wrong with clean finishes, and normal booking? As for Team 3D, their comments on WWE were a joke. If they get a phonecall, just like everyone else, they will take the money. The match was nothing special at all, but nothing bad either. I'm waiting up for something big to happen later. The show so far has bored me sh*tless, so hopefully things pick up, or a big name debuts i.e Goldberg. Christy Hemme? :lol Thankully that wasn't the big news, but it's still not good for them either. Anyway, a big name will be joining TNA, probably Goldberg, Zbyszko is under probation, and Raven is also back, but he looks in awful shape, so I won't expect much. Christian/Abyss was really good, for what it was. The usual crowd brawling, ref bump, weapon shots and so on, took away from the match, and the ring work wasn't perfect, but it was easy to enjoy. The spots made the match I'd say - Unlike the previous X-Division matches, these made sense, and added to the match. The Frog Splash, and then the powerbomb and Unprettier onto the thumbtacks were great. I do think though, no matter how good this was, neither man is right for the main event scene. TNA need to cut down on the promos big time. Every single wrestler on this show, bar Scott D'amore, James Mitchell and Scott Steiner has cut an awful promo. None have charisma, none have mic skills, and the 1980's style, belongs in the 80's. It's ridiculous how bad some of the wrestlers are on the mic. AMW, AJ Styles, Rhino even, are all fairly good characters, and pretty good in the ring, but they need to improve their mic work. It takes away from the show completely. Sometimes they arn't bad, but these tonight have been in Mark Henry's league - Generic, sh*te. The last match, which I have no clue how to descrivbe the stipulation, was by far the best of the night. Obviously 8 men, and weapons, it was never going to be anything bad, but this was really, really good. From the start, with the heels working over the faces when they had the advantage, to the faces getting the lead when it was even, everything clicked. All the wrestlers did very well, including Steiner, who suprised me a lot, considering how awful he was in The E 3 years ago. When all 8 were in the ring, it really took off. The weapons played a great part, and the spot on top of the cage was awesome. I was expecting them to fall through the roof though, which would of made it even better, but it still was a really nice visual. Unfortunately, no big name debut, unless you count Christy, Low Ki or Raven, but the main event covered that. The rest of the event was shocking though, bar Ki/Daniels and joe/Sabu, which was too short, so yeah, on the whole, it was dissapointing. If I took away the final match, it would be the worst card I've seen in a LONG time. Nothing was good, two parts were average, and the rest was w*nk. But it did had a great main event, so overrall, it wasn't too bad. Daniels' opponent was Shin Shi, I think you're mistaken talking about this "Low Ki" individual. Also, click here for Mike Tenay with a funny voice. Evil Gringo 279
Hey at least some NJPW talent won on a PPV and well they really should have done given their quality compaired to that of the TNA team. Nice to see Cage carry on with the title and Rhino and AJ get the win as well to keep them up top in TNA even if the match was domoinated by the Jarrett/Stinger storyline... Solid little outing and lets see if TNA can carry on building but they need to get rid of the gimmick of this ppv and maybe next year just have a heated rivialy in the cage instead of going for the insane highspots. Guest Wolverine
Wow' date=' that would have been a classic, where did you hear that?[/quote'] Daniels said that Storm was the backup on WOL. Personally, I'm not a huge Lance Storm fan so I'm not too disappointed that he wasn't used at Lockdown.

Guest Dave7g
Just finished watching the show at last (dvd's take time). I don't know what substances Jack was taking with his analysis of it, I pretty much thought it was another fine show fromTNA. Really liked x-scape, it had a nice original finish. Team USA vs Japan was really good too. Christian being allowed to work a strong match, wow. Easily Christians best singles match since, well...er ever. Joe vs Sabu was too short but hell Sabu was working with a broken friggin' arm!! He's the new Rhyno!! Main event was awesome too, even Steiner seemed in good form. Nice angles throughout too, I get a feeling that Bischoff will be the new 'public face of TNA'. Nice job all round. And I think Daniels losing to Low Ki was GOOD booking, since Low Ki returning doing a job would make the former X-Division champion look weak. And Daniels is off to tag team land anyway so it doesn't really matter. P.S James Mitchell is the best thing going today.
Guest Slim Jim
I think Mitchell is brilliant. He's entertaining to watch, and does a great job of putting over his man and the opponent. Click. Doomsday.
