Trish & Mickie James - Best Angle of the year!

there have been some absolute pants storylines this year that could have gone so much further or just plain sucked!

 

but the saving grace has got to be mickie and trish. it's been great entertainment and continues to get better after several months! the fact they can put on a great match too just makes it even better!

I have said it many times and I have posted a topic very much like this a few months back. Up Until Mania this was the greatest angle WWE have produced in a long time. It has had perfect character developement, perfect evolution of plot and perfectly worked matches that fit into the context of the angle.

 

But now they maybe pushing it too far. The crowd have been dead for the Trish change and it isn't working at all. They need to bring it back round and get the writing and thought strong again or they risk killing it.

 

But no questions, from Mickies debut until Mania it has been the highlight of WWE

I don't know, the matches were hardly perfect, in fact probably the opposite. Some of the angles were plain stupid. Kidnapping whatsherface and putting her in a box?????? Same deal last Monday. The whole sexual harrassment thing was incredibly retarded. Dont you think one of Trishes friends could have called her up and said, "eh Trish, just watch the tape of Raw and you'll see". Invisible cameraman ruins all. It's gone on for far too long, probably because there is NOTHING else for them to do when this very long fued is over. I know lots of people are saying how great it is, but botchy matches and the worst acting of all time do not do it for me. In fact I really hated the whole thing. As for "perfect character development" I suggest you watch Crash, and you may change your mind, as that is not even on the same planet.

To be honest, it's complete cheese, but it's pushed cheese all the same. It's nice to see a built, long feud but doing it with the women's division runs the risk of it getting stale very quickly. I've said it once and I'll say it again: If all that time was spent building a proper Intercontinental division feud RAW would be a much better show. And why are they pushing the women's division anyway? They only have a handful of wrestlers (which is more that can be said for the tag division which is the real crying shame of RAW booking).

Gotta agree with the guys here, this angle is a cracker. A nice slow-burning feud with plenty of intrest along the way. They have avoided the 2-PPV blow off & gave the angle plenty of TV time & the matches have ranged from good to fantastic. The fact that they have focused so much on the Womens division shows they are trying out new directions & the feud has been recieved well by the audience, so bigger things may lie ahead.

Oh & "The Kiss" makes this feud even better.

This Angle was great until this hole Mickie fully becomming Trish and now Trish becomming Mickie thing, now they have overly complicated it in my view and I think its gone way down hill on what was the best angle in a long time

Hopefully the "Single White Female" angle will end at Backlash as I prefer Mickie with dark hair!!:lol :worship

 

This has definately been the best womens angle for a long time and was one of the main matches I was looking forward to a WM. It was just a shame they messed up the finish.

I've loved this angle, its been my main reason for watching RAW the past 6 months. Its getting a bit old now, but somehow it still keeps me entertained. But yes, great booking of a Womens' angle.

Gotta love a bit of cheese... I'm loving the feud, I find it absolutely hilarious! Mickie is still coming off as psycho where as Trish is just taking the (no pun intended) mickie out of her... Love it, love them both!

I have really been into this feud and it has been really strong and it has had some great matches and some great promos, i just hoping the WWE ends this feud before they take it to far.

It's one of the longest running storylines in the WWE at the moment - it's been a slow burn to this point, which just makes it better.

Unfortunately though they've twisted it the wrong way now with the whole pretending to be each other, and the 'boyfriend in a box'. So Trish manhandles this guy and puts him in a box right? Highly unbelievable and a bit silly really.

 

Plus, it's a women’s feud, to be honest I'm not too interested in womans wrestling, it's a bit of a joke most of the time. They could of spent this time and creativity on something else such as an interesting title feud with the Intercontinental title or some other title.

Yes and no - she could have lured him onto the chair, and tied him up with the promise of something naughty.

Their match at Mania was the second best of the night, so if you're saying that it's a joke, then the men's wrestling is even more of a joke. :P

Sorry but I feel woman's wrestling is a bit pointless really, they're are just there cause Vince feels the ratings will rise for the male viwers, which is true a bit but apart from that what else are they there for, they hardly look like woman wrestlers, it's a bit of a joke in my opinion. Sorry it's just the way I feel.
