I really need to watch HHH vs Rock then. I voted for Benoit vs Angle as it's the only one i've seen.

Yeah I voted for Triple H vs. The Rock and I don't think it's even close. Benoit vs. Angle was disappointing considering it was Benoit vs. Angle. The Triple H vs. Rock match was a very entertaining hour that actually didn't seem like an hour (unlike the terrible Bret vs. Michaels match which I think is still going on as we speak), it was filled with nice little, innovative booking touches (Triple H blasting Rock with a chair getting himself DQed but then pinning Rock to keep himself ahead a fall, for instance). Sure the ending was a little overbooked, but it was a fun ending. The match remains to this day easily the best WWE Ironman match of all time.

Angle/Benoit, no question.

 

The Rock/H-Bomb match was alright, but too much going on, taking the focus of the wrestlers, & the cheap anti-climatic finnish ruins the whole match.

HHH/Rock for me just because of the Undertakers return which is still today my favourite all-time wrestling moment. the match itself wasnt too bad either.

I couldn't say Angle/Benoit was all that good because they totally out-did it with their singles match at Royal Rumble 2003.

Oh yeah, I agree the Rumble match is a hard one to top, but the match was far better & more sound than the Rock/H-Bomb match.

So was HHH/Benoit and even HBK/Bret but technicality doesn't make a great match as proven by this poll. Atmosphere, storylines and psychology are far more important. If more people enjoyed technical bouts RoH would be the number one company in the US right now. Looking at Warrior/Hogan or even Cena/HHH, I would call them both great matches although they weren't technical masterpieces.
