Guest HSM
Round 1 Round 2 1. M. Young - GA Yankees 2. C. Crawford - Seattle Jets 3. D. Willis - Matt's Marlins 4. A. Pierzynski - Chris2K Steelers 5. D. Wright - Stoke Snipers 6. P. Martínez - Manchester Black Sox 7. B. Abreu - AJ's Astros 8. J. Bay - latz losers 9. M. Tejada - El Bongo de Campeón 10. C. Carpenter - Popsi's Dragons Round 2 starts with GA Yankees picking Texas shortstop Michael Young... brave choice as #1 2nd round pick, but a wise one too. 2nd pitcher honours goes to Pedro Martinez, and the Manchester Black Sox, and Chris Carpenter will be lining up for Popsi's Dragons as the third drafted pitcher in the league. Catchers again going high in the draft, with Chris2k drafting TNA's own... sorry, The World Champion Chicago White Sox' glovesman AJ Pierzynski. Strange that, could have sworn Willis was a Pitcher when I picked him. :lol

Guest Inno
I'll do a rundown of what's been happening on Monday after this week's games have been played out.
Guest Inno
OK, as promised, here's the latest update on what's going down - and who's going up - in the TWO Fantasy Baseball league. Here's the first three weeks results in full: http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/2163/week14yz.jpg http://img273.imageshack.us/img273/6330/week21km.jpg http://img273.imageshack.us/img273/1871/week39nh.jpg Those results give us a league table that looks like this as of this very morning: http://img273.imageshack.us/img273/1749/standings8fg.jpg Well you can see for yourself - the mighty El Bongo de Campéon have built an impressiv lead already - 8.5 points, but from there on down it's tight with 4 teams all within 3 points of each other. We have a three way tie in the basement with Manchester Black Sox taking the wooden spoon slot at the moment, only as they habe the worst record this week of the two teams tied with 19-29-9 records. C'mon, guys - pull your 'sox' up :) As for individual stats, here's the top 20 Batters and Pitchers: Batters: http://img273.imageshack.us/img273/8312/batters6sd.jpg Pitchers: http://img273.imageshack.us/img273/2196/pitchers5kg.jpg As for trades? Well, it's been a quiet start with most teams seemingly happy with what they have - only three trades have been processed by the Commisioner so far: ~~~~~ Matt's Marlins Joe Blanton and Seattle Jets Francisco Liriano traded places : compare their records: Liriano - 6 games, no saves, no wins, no losess, 15 strike outs over 10.1 innings and 4.24 ERA Blanton - 3 Games (all starts) 1 win, 2 losses, no saves, 13 strike outs over 18.1 innings and 6.87 ERA To me, I'd say that's a fairly even trade, but Liriano looks to be the best bet so far - good going Matt's Marlins! ~~~~~ In the second trade. Matt's Marlins closer Jason Isringhausen and El Bongo de Campéon starter Mark Prior swapped sides : again, let's compare records: Isringhausen 8 games 0 wins 2 losses 5 saves, 4 strikeouts over 6.0 innings, 7.50 ERA Priot hit the disabled list and hasnt played once. No contest there - so far, despite not being at the top of his game, Isringhausen is the best bet - go Bongo! ~~~~~ In the third and last trade, GA Yankees traded away Derrek Lee & Chone Figgins, for El Bongo de Campéon pair Jimmy Rollins and Alex Rodriguez: Lee: 14 games, 11 runs, 14 hits, 3 Homers, 10 RBIs, 0.318 average and 5 stolen bases - and just went on the DL due to a fractured wrist. Figgins: 19 games, 15 runs, 21 hits, 2 Homers, 10 RBIs, 0.266 average and 4 stolen bases. Rollins: 17 games, 12 runs, 20 hits, 1 Homer, 3 RBIs, 0.290 average and 3 stoeln bases. Rodriguez: 17 games. 18 runs, 19 hits, 5 Homers, 14 RBIs, 0.297 average and 2 stolen bases. Looks fairly even from where I sit, but with Lee hitting the DL, and A-Rod looking like he's hitting his stride, I'd say GA Yankees pulled off the best deal there. ~~~~~ All in all, the league is finely poised - all it takes is for a couple of injuries, a hot streak and a couple of shrewd moves on the free agent market and this league could be anyone's - thanks to all who play, and all who take an interest in this thread anyway. Guest HSM
Liriano - 6 games, no saves, no wins, no losess, 15 strike outs over 10.1 innings and 4.24 ERA Blanton - 3 Games (all starts) 1 win, 2 losses, no saves, 13 strike outs over 18.1 innings and 6.87 ERA To me, I'd say that's a fairly even trade, but Liriano looks to be the best bet so far - good going Matt's Marlins! ~~~~~ In the second trade. The first one WOULD have been a good trade had I not dropped Liriano after he got caught Drunk Driving and was rumoured to be being dumped down to AAA as punishment. :P As for the second, Prior will come good once hes fit, youll see. :thumbsup
Guest HSM
Aslo, the scoring confuses me, how do the head to head results affect the league standings? and how do our records get worked out in the first place?
Guest Inno
head to head affects standings only in the case of a dead heat - record against the other dead-heat-er would count. The table is sorted on the W-L-T record; if I score more Homers than your team, and more RBIs, but you get more stolen bases, and we tie on strikeouts - my record would be 2-1-1 - 2 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie. Guest Inno
Stoke Snipers I was the 5th or 6th person to join. Can you log into your yahoo account as normal? That's the only thing I can think of why you can't see your team - it's definitely there. I can propose a trade so you get your email informing you of it and you can get a fresh link to see your team that way?
