Danny Styles
Welp.. i'm a huge creed fan.. and they are one of my favourtie bands... so i was wondering.. 1. what do you guys think of them? 2. Are they big in America? 3. At Armageddon when they advertised the troops special the song was sung by a guy who sounded alot like the lead singer from Creed... his name was Scott Sapp.. i can't remember the lead singer from Creed's name.. so was it the lead singer from Creed and if so have Creed split up??? cheers :thumbsup
Fletch
Scott Sapp was the lead singer of Creed. Creed split, and the rest of the band, except Sapp, formed Alter Bridge who perform Metalingus which is Edge's theme song and their song Find the Real was used at the Royal Rumble this past January. Dead Crow
Scott Stapp has a solo album if you're interested, not sure if it is out yet though. EDIT: It is, it's called "The Great Divide".
Inno
It's not as good a s the Creed stuff. It's even heavier on the "I am Jesus" imagery of which Stapp was so fond, too. yucky.
Ryan
Welp sorry for going of topic but you've said "Welp" loads of times but what does it mean?

I don't like Disturbeds new album for this reason. Still, giving Stapp a try now. I liked Creed so my fingers are crossed.
Drake
I knew Creed had split and that the lead singer had a solo album, but I didn't knew the rest of the band were Alter Bridge. I've been listening to Edge's since he had it and I never knew that. :D But yeah Danny I was also a Creed fan when they were still together. The song is called "The Great Divide" by the way, in case anyone is interested (yes, the title track of the album) :)
Kanenite
Scott Sapp was the lead singer of Creed. Creed split, and the rest of the band, except Sapp, formed Alter Bridge. Well you really taught me something there! I never knew. I like Creed, but there are only a couple of songs I like and have heard such as My Sacrifice and One. The B-Man
I didn't know that Creed where Alterbridge minus Stapp about 10 months ago:P but I thought they sounded like Creed, not as good imo but decent enough band. Heard a bit of Stapps solo stuff, just not the same though.

Red05
I really liked the stuff Creed did. I thought Scott had a tremendously powerful voice, 'twas sad to hear of their split. But, we have the greatest hits album don't we :D
PHIZZLE
"My Sacrifice" has been used in alot of "WWE Desire" videos. Thank you for repeating what I already know
Jung
Stapp did have a fair few drink and drugs problems apparantly too, which lead to the split. Plus Eddie Vedder wanted his voice back for the next Pearl Jam album ;)
Alan
I was a big fan of Creed and still love their music to this day. I was very dissapointed when they split, but was also glad to know that all members would continue in music. The guys that went on to form Alter Bridge have done a fantastic job, putting together an outstanding album. Scott Stapp has one of those unique voices that you recognise anywhere, and i cant wait to get hold of his album.
cenarules
I was a Creed fan as well. They were a band that didn't scream or cuss to try to make a point. Their music really had a great message to it and I was sad when they split up, even though they seem to be doing a good job now.
Inno
Loved the music, loved the vocals, hated Stapp himself. If he was made of chocolate, he would have eaten himself.
Jimmy Redman
Stapp always seemed well stuck up his own behind. And I dont think that him as a solo artist would be as good as Creed. I have always rated Mark Tremonti as a guitar player, and Stapp by himself would just be like Jesus in rock star form. I will try and get hold of Stapp's music though.
