Hoffmeister
Apparently the F.A were going to appoint Gary Glitter as Sven Goran-Eriksons succesor. However after some qustioning about who he would pick and his formations and his overall england setup for the future the F.A decided against it. Apparently the reason he didnt get the job was because of his insistence to put Seaman in the under 15s.

wyndorf
Gary Glitter's a man who has a problem, an addiction to minors. I don't think it's fair that the Hoff is making light of Glitter's unfortunate addiction. It's not his fault. Gary Glitter has done far more for the music industry than Eddie Guerrero ever done for wrestling. Show the man a little respect, Hoff!............ Citizen Kane
Who's Gary Glitter?
Christof
Well that depends on where in the world you are from. In the UK he was a 70's Glam Rocker whom transformed and bettered himself to become a national celebrity as the country's most famous paedophile. However if you are from Thailand you probably know him as the man who runs the local kindagarten.

So Eddie did more for his profession than Gary Glitter did. However George Best was better at his profession than Eddie and Gary put together. MrFill
How dare you insult Glitter like this! He was the greatest Glam Rocker ever, even other Glam Rockers would look up to him. His addiction to kiddies isn't his fault, and even when he had a jail sentence, was given a second chance, he's a legend for not trying to overcome it, so we should respect him for that. Leave him alone - if you don't have anything good to say about Gary Glitter, then stay away from the Internet, because you're not worthy to say anything about him. Christof
As I said Fill, I agree. He was a reformed character. He turned himself from being a society reject as a Glam Rocker into a national celebrity that the papers loved.

Citizen Kane
I agree. Gary Glitter > Eddie Guerrero Oh for God sake man leave it! If some people don't like George Best, they don't like George Best! There's no need to continually bring Eddie into this! JUST LEAVE IT!!! There's no need to continually bring Eddie into this! JUST LEAVE IT!!! Everyone who went into the R.I.P George Best thread to bash him instead of celebrating him started this. Everyone has the right to dislike him and be constructive, but to just come in and totally call him was pathetic. Luckily the Eddie thread is closed because I would have dissed that loser of a man.
