Edgemaster006
The word was (in my ears) that Joe beats Jarrett in 2006 for the WORLD title still undefeated.... But Joe fighting AJ is precarious. Either way this guarantees that Joe will HAVE to give up the streak... The X-Division champ can't stay as long and as repeatedly as say...world champ. Comments? Potential works? Smark away..
Drake
I think Styles will end Joes winning Streak and then at the next PPV Joe will masacre AJ and win the title.
Edgemaster006
Really?.....I am more inclined to think the reverse; AJ gives the title to Joe and ends the streak in a grudge match at the next PPV, taking back the X-Division belt THEN Joe goes for World Title....no?? Brad
I think Joe will lose to AJ this time round, and then the feud will be over, and Samoa Joe will go for men like Monty Brown, Jeff Hardy and Rhyno for a while.
Danny Styles
I hope Joe doesn't get the main title for now.... i think his offence is good.. but his charisma is low and he can't sell very well... I hope AJ wins but Joe probably will
Edgemaster006
I just don't see a point in ending the streak. Joe cannot possibly go for the World Belt without going over AJ...........CLEAN. As far as charsima...he can carry it. He's getting a fair amount of heel heat for smashing Daniels. And i think the amazing triple threat match from Sacrafice is still in everyone's memory as is the X-Cup.
Brad
But the Selling for Joe is his gimmick, he is meant to be a samoan monster so he isn't supposed to be the best seller.
Edgemaster006
That didn't seem to stop him in ROH.
Brad
But i guess ROH was different, and he was a monster to begin with, and did mostly dominate the matches.
Danny Styles
What actually happened with Daniels??? Did Joe do it om purpose?? and what happened?? i've only heard a little about it
daz2005
i personally think joe vs aj would be a great match
Edgemaster006
And he's a monster now too! Did you see impact last night? And actually pretty much every other night? He dominates Jerelle Clark completely. Screw Austin 3:16, that match was like *Joe 1:00*
Jack
Joe really isn't World Title material, in a semi-mainstream company. As much as people want to deny it, giving the belt to an ugly, uncharasimatic fat guy, will not draw anything. You may think he is talented, or not, but he lacks so much to be the main guy in a company. It works/worked in RoH, because the fans care about workrate a lot more, and as much as I don't like him in-ring, a lot of people do, so he was considered a great wrestler, and deserved to be the Champion, in those peoples eyes. The only X-Division wrestler in TNA, who could be a credible World Champion, is Christopher Daniels. And realistically, the only X-D wrestler who will get a reign at the top, is AJ Styles, and he won't draw either. If the mainstream cared about wrestling ability, fine, but they don't, which is why joe doesn't deserve anything above the X-Division title. Joe has as much claim for the World Belt as ....lets say....Rhyno.
Danny Styles
Joe has as much claim for the World Belt as ....lets say....Rhyno. well you can at least look at Rhino for longer than 2 seconds.. and he has that intensity and charisma that joe doesn;t
Edgemaster006
Joe is just as intense. And as far as charisma..... I wasn't aware Rhyno had any.
