WWE
I have been meaning to post this for weeks, but I always kept forgetting to... Does anybody else notice that whenever a Double Tag is made, the Face always hits the Heel. I can not remember the last time (or the first) that a Heel has hit the Face when they both get Tagged in at the same time... I'm wondering if this has ever happened anywhere, anytime? MrFill
Does anybody else notice that whenever a Double Tag is made' date=' the Face always hits the Heel.[/quote'] That's because it's generally known as a "hot tag" - the face has been beaten by both heels, he gets a surprise move to knock the in-ring heel down, they both crawl towards their partner and the face gets the hot tag and cleans house to get a big pop from the crowd. Hot tags happen at other times as well, but it's still the reason for it.
Brad
Yeah, there has always been a reason for it, it's not like completely random or anything just to clear it up. I am sure that sometimes it can be different depending on if it is a squash match or not.

Ryan
But wasn't this a cage match which would of meant that it was under tornado tag rules? yes it was a Cage match but it was normal Tag Team Style.
Brad
Oh right ok, am i correct in thinking this was the match where the final spot was with Jeff Hardy missing a swanton bomb through a table from the top of the cage?

CoTT
"Hot tags" are over-used in WWE, just like heel wins with the feet on the ropes and referee bumps in main events.
MrFill
"Hot tags" are over-used in WWE' date=' just like heel wins with the feet on the ropes amd referee bumps in main events.[/quote'] Very true, but they use "cheap" methods to get pops/heat out of the crowd, and these are some of the easiest ways.
