stevejd
anyone think Goldust and Vader will be back in WWE full time? I hope so ... On RAW they would be good additions. Also will Stone Cold ever fight Coach to end this storyline about JR's job? Why did he pull out of Taboo Tuesday??
Ryan
with the Position that Goldust's dad has (Dusty Rhodes) i would of thought Goldust is in the WWE full time, as for Vader i believe he has a Legends Contract, dont know what it means but i doubt he's on a full time schedule. stevejd
I know Goldust was released from TNa a while back now and although he's been inWWE about 4-5 times already and left I think his gimmick is something light hearted that the fans like to see and also he is a decent wrestler and could be taken more seriously as a charcter if wanted to. vortigern
Going back to the early nineties Steve Austin and Dustin Rhodes were well heralded as the future of the sport,Austin as the next Ric Flair and Rhodes as a worthy succesor to his father.Austin we know about even though he didnt become the next flair he created his own legacy, unfortunately for the talented Rhodes jr things didnt work out that way and now he`s seen as riding on his fathers influence.Whilst i dont believe Rhodes will ever get to the glorious heights of ol` Dusty, his addition to RAW would be at least good fun,if you remember he was released due to having no plans for him at the time.Playing face or heel he could feud with Val Venis or Viscera or face his bro Trevor Murdoch if he got himself a partner,im all for Goldusts return. At the same time as Austin and Dustins much lauded early days was the beast known as `Vader`,a multi champion in Mexico,Europe and Japan now winning world titles in the U.S.A,he was awesome,a real international legend, maybe the best big man ever? but......that was 12 years ago and he`s now about 50 not a good idea. Chris2K
I'd be surprised if we saw Vader again for a while after the shambles of his first two appearances. Goldust will probably be around for a bit though.
Brad
It would be good to see Goldust about, he is a good addition and in my opinion a good wrestler and entertainer, not many people to feud with though, but i did think the Val Venis/Goldust feud in 1998 was good so maybe this could be something which could bring Val into Raw a bit more. Gooneronastick
Also will Stone Cold ever fight Coach to end this storyline about JR's job? Why did he pull out of Taboo Tuesday?? Probably, if JR wants to come back to doing PbP commentary. I heard that Austin injured his back lugging furniture at his home and thats why he pulled out of TT. Matt
Go back to the Goldust / Undertaker / Foley angles they had in the 90's i thought Goldust was fantastic. His angle was fresh and he worked his ass off in the ring. I have always thought the Goldust character was very useful and his angles with Piper and Razor Ramon were entertaining. He has come to a time now where he wont be involved in anything really big but he's a useful guy to have around. As for Vader i dont know why they dont drop the mask and the ringwear and just have him in a non wrestling role as a mentor to a monster like Big Show or Kane. Similair to the role that Harley race had with vader back in the late 80's.
Danny Styles
hope vader doesn't show up.... he looks awful and it will hurt legacy... seeing as dusty is on the booking team look for a goldust world title run :P
MrFill
I heard that Austin injured his back lugging furniture at his home and thats why he pulled out of TT. Yeah, that's it, "hurt his back" - had nothing to do with jobbing to Coach at all, nope, nothing at all. :P
The Indy Legend
I like Goldust being back, but he looks like he may need to drop a few pounds. I always thought Goldust was a bit underrated. Vader I was dissapointed to see has become evne more overwieght and even sloppier. Vader was my favorite big man, so it kind of sucked seeing him like that. Plus he fell out of the ring. I like the idea of Goldust sticking around, but definitly not as a body guard. It doesn't fit his charachter's look or personality. Vader would stay pretty effective in that role especially if they bring in Mark Henry as another bodyguard for Coach. Than you might have a traditional big man tag team. Brad
Probably' date=' [i']if[/i] JR wants to come back to doing PbP commentary. I heard that Austin injured his back lugging furniture at his home and thats why he pulled out of TT. Hasn't it already been said that Austin pulled out because he didn't want to job to Coach. Drake
Goldust will probably be back because of what everyone mentioned,Dusty in the creative team so he will probably be in some stupid angle. As far as Vader, the man can't even be in the ring 30 seconds without falling,so for Vaders dignity he won't come back.
Brad
I believe Vader would like to have maybe one match or so with someone, but i agree that he does fall over a bit too much for my liking and probably for everyone elses.
FreeSpirit
Maybe they should change Vader's catchphrase to "Its time, its time, its burger time". The guy's so out of shape and after falling flat on his ass on Raw and botching a Batista spinebuster at Taboo Tuesday, I dont think I can take him seriously anymore.
Nemesis Enforcer
Can't see Vader being brought abck ful ltime (don't want him to be either :lol)Golddust tho, with Dusty back i'd say its more then likely he'll be around for a long tiem to come... but like Vader i'd not like to see it
