Ravenmark
Don't know if this has been posted before or not... Has anybody heard anything further to this match as WM? All I know is that Akebono is a former Yokozuna(Sumo Champion, not the now deceased Samoan playing a Japanese wrestler), and that he has been involved in K-1. I think there might have been an angle at the Smackdown show in Japan. Anybody know anything about this?
malaphesto
is this the guy simon dean made fun of?
MARTIN316V1
They was an angle between them in Japan, which ended in them both shaking hands. Then last week on SD!, Funaki went up to Big Show backstage and said Akebono challanges him to a match or something like that. So, i guess it will happen at WM. Dave7g
I'm sure this will be a "great" match.
Trimmy
apparently the match is going to go ahead but if the plan fails the Big Show will face Orlando for the Us title.
Captain Caveman
You would think that the Big Show would maybe think to do some thing about his weight after WM considering he is now being booked in a match against a sumo! I saw this Akebono fight in K1 last night, this match will stink. Sumo Wrestling and pro wrestling are as different as football and american football. It is begining to remind me of the match at WM 14 or 15 when Bart Gunn(i think) fought that fat sh#t Butterbean in a boxing match. That sucked too, although i think that Gunn got sacked straight after as the fight was such a massive failure, ha ha!
Kanenite
It will be a great match, hoping that both of the sides (Big Show and Akebono) can agree on the match and wrestle on the biggest stage of them all
johnny knoxvill
It will be about the spectacle. To see if Show can lift him?
