As we draw near to the end of my polls to find the greatest champion in WWF/E history we still need the greatest World champion. Before we reach confusion over the poll it will include the following championships:

1963: "WWWF World Heavyweight Title"

196?: "WWWF Heavyweight Title"

1971: "WWF Heavyweight Title"

1988: "WWF Undisputed Heavyweight Title"

1989: "WWF Federation Title"

2001: "WWF Undisputed World Title"

2002: "WWE Undisputed World Title"

2002: Split into seperate RAW & Smackdown! Titles.

Current Finalists:

Crash Holly (Hardcore)

D Lo Brown (European)

Trish Stratus (Womens)

Rey Mysterio (Cruiserwieght)

Edge and Christian (Tag Team)

Stone Cold Steve Austin (King Of The Ring)

Ric Flair (Royal Rumble)

John Cena (United States)

Easy choice for me, there have been some great world champions over the years but no one was better or more entertaining than the Texas Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Every time that glass shatters its an instant mark out out moment. Austin is the man.

I wasn't implying that Cena hasn't been a good US champ or whatever - i think he has - I think there were better options in WCW's history of the belt.

As for WWE's history...

Booker T brought the belt over from WCW

It was then given to Chris Kanyon

Tajiri then beat Kanyon

Rhyno beat Tajiri

Kurt Angle beat Rhyno

Edge beat Angle

The title was then unified with the IC title at Survivor Series.

Title then revived on Sd!

Eddie beat Benoit

Big Show beat Eddie

John Cena beat Show

Booker T won it in 8 man elimination

Cena and Booker battleed in the best of 5 series

Carlito beat Cena

Cena beat Carlito

and that brings us up to date.
