Orton v Undertaker

That would be the lamest ass decision ever if that was the outcome. Randy Orton hasnt done enough in this business to get a win over the Undertaker at Wrestlemania IMO. If he truly wanted to be a legend killer he should make sure that HHH doesnt walk out of Wrestlemania period.

First make sure he loses his title. Then you attack his quad and put him on the shelf for awhile. That is how the Legend Killer status would be cemented. Beating Taker at Wrestlemania to be honest wouldnt be enough.

The card is shaping up now, Orton vs Taker will hopefully be good if 'Taker can pull one out. IMO he hasnt had a superb match since he's been back, but that may be down to the competition.

This match looks good on paper, but as has been said before, a 'Taker win won't do Orton much good, but an Orton win scraps 'Taker's WM unbeaten run - which I honestly thinks he deserves to be remembered by.

Ideally I'd wanna see an Orton heel turn, then to get beaten by 'Taker. However I think WWE may run this as face vs face.

And if Randy doesn't beat Taker in some way or other' date=' he's not a "Legend Killer" anymore and we have damaged both wrestlers' reps. This DQ idea does of course work better if RKO is a heel (then again so does RKO himself).[/quote']

Right. Orton is the future of the company but doesn't deserve to end Takers streak, Their match at Mania shouldn't happen in my opinion but probably will as it will attract a lot of PPV buys. :roll

There is no other person on the roster who deserves to end takers streak other than orton.

NO ONE deserves to end Takers streak. Orton shouldn't, he lost cleanly to HHH at the Royal Rumble and Taker was able to beat HHH even in his weaker American Badass days!!

Orton is superb. The best young all round talent in the world today. Orton beating taker cleanly would be brilliant.

I agree I don't hate Orton in fact I think he is the future of the company but I feel Taker's record is untouchable and as legendary as Flair's 16 title reigns

The arguement seems more that its the fact taker will lose his streak not is orton wothy of it.

I would like to see taker go out unbeaten too. But if he does lose it, then ortons the man. It could have been worse, they could have let heidenreich end it or even nathan jones two years ago.

I havent been a fan of Taker for a long time,he bores me rigid. I totally marked out at his comeback at WM, then when he got into the ring and took his hat off it was still the old biker Taker! He used to be class in the old days when he would nail people into coffins and destroy worthy opponents. Now he is wasting his time against sh#te. I would like to see him have a decent feud with HHH on SD(like that will ever happen!) then retire.

Having said, there is no way in hell that Orton should win at WM. They havent refered to that legend killer crap since last WM anyway. Orton is done and dull, hell he got booed by the fans at the Rumble and Taker's legacy shoudl not be tarnished just to try and reignite the fans interest in Orton. A heel turn could save him, but do it by DQ against Taker, dont let him win!

If Taker does finally lose his undefeated streak at Wrestlemania it can't be to Orton and as far as im concerned he isn't ready to retire yet so why make him lose now I say if he does finally get beaten at mania have him lose his last mania match making it more special

Orton's not as over as he should be because he was turned way too fast with no build up and his WHC run was cut ridiculously short. he should go back to being a heel (Stacy's wrestling has gotten a bit better maybe she should cost him a match and get RKO'd for it) and then be built up as a title contender

Class Idea

Orton was an amzing heel but would be equally as good as a face if the writers hadn't banjaxed his turn. Like you said, his title run was unjustifiably (sp) short and the fact it was handed straight back to triple H nearly made me cry. It is frustrating as hell to see him constantly have the title. Undoubtedky even if big Dave does win the title it would go back to H3 within weeks.

Another bad thing about the WWE is the fact no one wants to sell the rko. There is no way in hell that it hurts, even though it looks like it does. I mean his arm is stopping their faces hit the ground. The most recent person to sell the RKO well has to be, and I'm upset to say this, Kane. In the cage match last year he sold the RKO perfectly though our view may have been hindered by the cage. Ric Flair is the worst. A lot of people I know credit him for his selling when it is bad as hell. He always bumps to his right hand side. That most be his chocolate spot but it just looks bad. Even his big back body drop bumps he ends up at his side. he hasn't had a good match since the one with 'taker a few WMs back.

No Orton does not deserve to end his streak, no-one does. But if it is his last Wm then he should go out with a bang and do the right thing to let someone else get the heat by winning and going on. Don't do a Bret.(before anyone flames me I watched wrestling with shadows again last night)

All in all. No he should keep his unbeaten Wm run if he is to stay. If not then Randy is the guy to do it. I mean c'mon. Like him or not he has talent and deserves the push to gtet him past the crap they're giving him now. I mean he had to stand there and listen to the "too sweet to be sour" speech and act like her cared. that takes good acting.

In summary. NO. No to the match and no to the taker loss. If he's leaving then yes.

3. taker v orton (face or heel either way) and taker winning to keep his underfeated streak at mania and retire with respect of the fans (well me anyway)

Definately the best way. :xyx

Orton should turn heel! His mic skills are so cheesy! I want to see Orton make fun of people in the midcard to get over. He should have a segment with Christian and get totally outspoken but say Christian plays with balls so all the marks think he won the argument.

that makes zero sense at all... until you realise that you are having a go at Cena again just trying to cover it up by making it seem to be relevant to this thread :roll

Orton isnt over because he is not using cheap heat to get over.

Thats not true. Orton indeed is over. HHH snuffed it out by pushing the idiotic notion that he wasnt ready to carry the banner as the World champion.Originally it was supposed to be Orton chasing HHH for the title up to Wrestlemania. And then he was supposed to win it from HHH on that day. But since then the script has been changed and Batista has been put in the spot Orton was supposed to be at right now.

The Legend Killer thing indeed worked well for Randy Orton. But I still say that he hasnt done enough in the sport to have been a World champion to begin with.Nor IMO does he deserve to be the one to end Takers Wrestlemania record. No way! A guy like Chris Benoit indeed would be deemed worthy of such a thing. But Orton? No way. I like the kid. But there is no way that you can sell him beating Taker cleanly for the 1-2-3. No way!

They could've had Orton face Shelton Benjamin for the IC title. That would've been cool. Or you could've had him face Chris Benoit again. That would've been okay. But to take him from Raw to jump after Undertaker for no reason truly shows that the creative team on Raw and Smackdown doesnt know the difference between their hairy arses and a hole in the ground.

This match shouldnt even be taking place.Even if they push Orton over to beat Taker at Mania it still wont change his place on Raw. He'll still be on the outside looking in when it comes to the World title picture. If Batista wins the gold at mania then Orton will have to turn into a"heel" before he could challenge Batista.

However, HHH would still be hogging the spotlight during that time if this feud ever came to light. Then what will Orton do? Rejoin Evolution to be HHH's b----? Or will he try to live up to being the Legend killer and take out HHH once and for all to kill the legend of the Cerebral Assassin?

Either way you cut it Orton has been lost in the shuffle.I dont think he'll ever come out even with a win over Taker at mania IMO.

Lets hope that doesnt happen. Right now the entire world is hungary for Batista to walk out of mania with the title intact. Having HHH escape with the title by any means yet again would be rating suicide for Raw the night after. Randy Orton costing HHH the title by interfering would be good. But to cost Batista the title would be the dumbest thing to do IMO.

What Randy Orton should do is make HHH's life a living hell and make sure that he never gets it back. That in a sense would be like killing the legend of HHH. Since the belt is all he lives for I say first make sure he loses the title, then make sure hes not able to challenge for it again by putting him on the shelf. That would be the way to be the legend killer.Take the power away from the threat then snuff it out completely. Going against Batista would make no sense at this point until he actually wins the title.

As much as i hate this idea, i think they are going to have this match with both men as faces. They will probably build it up as Orton saying he respects Taker, it would be his honour to face him at WrestleMania etc etc.

The above would only be a good idea if it starts off like that then a few weeks down the line Orton can turn on Undertaker and say he never respected him at all.

Face vs Face would suck, i hate fueds with the 'respect' factor involved.

Anyhow, it will be this or the HBK vs Angle match that ends in a handshake this year. (I would seriously mark if Taker and Orton are about to shake hands after the match, but Orton hits an RKO)

well you don't actually HAVE to laugh, feel free to though, but i'd rather Taker won as his title reigns have been good but not great so he should have the WM streak as his legacy
