I agree. I would rather watch someone defend the WWE title at a main event at a PPV using a sock because its over with idiots like me than something like an ankle lock, sharpshooter or an F5.

I like Mr. Socko. It was pretty funny and the fans always marked out when he pulled that sock out of his sweat pants. Foley is a hardcore god. I can also remember one Royal Rumble, where Foley started off, got eliminated, came back as Mankind, got eliminated, and finally came in as Cactus Jack. Even the announcers were saying how ridiculous it was. That was possibly one of the funniest moments I can remember in wrestling.

That was t.v gold! A man with a sock beating main event athletes. That was way better than those terrible segments during the invasion angle with Austin and Angle.

To be honest I can't remember, but I think it was the one in 1998. It was so great though. I'll do more research and see if I can figure it out.

I agree! His promos were superb. I hate our champions having serious feuds and having technical matches! I prefer a man with a sock on his hand!

 

Mick Foley was terrible in ECW, the segment where he spat on the title was terrible and that idiot Heyman will even back me up on that one! His character was at its best when he done the this is your life segment with the Rock!

For me, he will always have interesting matches because he'll pull a cool spot, cool being imo. And/or he might muff something up and make you laugh. Either way i'd rather see a guy jump off a ladder than be in a crappy hold on the floor, GO JEFF.
