Popsi
Is that hte new take on Singing in the Rain? Its pretty cool. Two of my fave ads at teh moment are the car which turns into a dancing robot! Thats just damn cool. Also the, I think its Honda, advert for their new diesel - the one with the song "Hate something, Change something da da da". Its so relaxing and makes me smile! Sad i know! The Doctor
Depends on the criteria you are using. I too love the dancing car, but cannot remember what type of car it is! So I appreciate the coolness of the ad, but it does not do the job of making me buy the product, so from an advertiser's POV, it's a crap advert! Adverts where I can actually remember what that are for are doing their job better, so unfortunately crap jingles do the job nicely - like Chicken Tonight and Shake 'n' Vac (anyone else remember that one?). Not cool, but you know what they are for and the ruddy jingle sticks in your head. Best advert ever ? One that springs to mind is a Hamlet advert where a balding guy with a bad combover is in a passport photo booth. Anyone who remembers this will surely agree it was funny! :lol
Trash
My favourite adverts are the 118 advert where the pair of 118 joggers were doing the obstacle course thingy. You know the Honda advert where it lasts a minute or 2 and each thing sets the next thing off. With the windows screen wipers and the screws. Well the 118 men ripped that off and it was very funny. They showed it a year ago and I couldnt stop laughing for 3 minutes. Unfortunately they showed it in the cinema and I must have been the only one laughing at some point. The other advert which I love right now is the car advert where all these cars are driving round on the pitch having a game of football. Its very well done and kept me amused for a while too. I cant remember the actual car or anything, they were just playing football. Oh and the Nike adverts from the World Cup 2002 Japan/South Korea. Thats where they got world class players like Ronaldo and Davids playing football in the big cage on the boat. I loved that one.
A.C.
I've always has a spot in my heart for the awful Coco Pops adverts with their horribly forced rhyming schemes. Are they produced for the British market or are they "localised"? Speaking of localisation. Any European advert with English voices dubbed on top is a must. Ocean Finance get full marks for the muppets they have extolling the virtues of the service. For example: "They treated me like a normal person going into a bank and getting a loan," says the bald fellow. So why didn't he? He'd of got a faaaar better rate. Oh that's right - you've spazzed it all away on credit cards and loans already haven't you? "They don't try to babble you with science or whatever," says the great big blonde. I think she realises she's cocked-up because of the "whatever" at the end. She's a spanner. They're all fools. And the woman at the end of the advert - her big flat gold buttons seem to flash on and off black/gold as she walks towards the camera. Grrrr

Inno
I hate Phil Tufnel. If I hear him go "Happy Days" one more time, I'll hunt him down and smack him to death with his own cricket bat.
Clarkey
The Post Office Ants are legendary. 'Want a piece of me', 'Whose the daddy'. My mum works in the Post Office so she had to watch the adverts before they went on tv and give some feedback, I demanded they send her/me a teeshirt. Anime Otaku
why has no one mentioned the Carlsberg 'Greatest ______ in the world' ads i especially liked the ones with the bank and the flat (there is another guy and 2 girls, both hot one's a chef that won't let anyone else cook, the guy gets the 'box room' which is amazing and his balcony over looks a football stadium). The Guinness bw ads were great too. Also i saw a Viral ad for the Golf with a terrorist that is sooooo funny. and the dancing robot car is a Renault i think
