WWF was first shown regularly on TV when sky/cable tv entered the country I think, but I do remember sitting down to watch UK wrestling on Saturday/Sunday whenever it was, and they had a "special" show from the US. Had the British Bulldogs, Young Stallions, Ultimate Warrior all on there. Blew me away completely. Not sure exactly when it was but I think it was around 88/89 because it was leading into an upcomig PPV, Survivor Series.

 

WCW was aired on ITV about 1ish in the mornings from around 1990 I think.

 

Incidentally seeing that WWF show back then actually put me completely off Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy, which if I'm right is I think what your post might be suggesting

December 88 was when brittish wrestling was taken off T.V ,

 

Yes , the reason i posted that was because im writing an article for wrestle press on uk wrestling. I dint know those dates (although an hour or so later i got the 88 date)

 

chears for your help with the sky tv info.
