X-Pac's crowd heat

Do you think it's due to him being a convincing heel or the fact that he is so crap the fans hate him.

I'd go for the latter.X-Pac used to be entertaining but as Edge asked him has he ever heard of character development? The WWF is partly to blame themselves for his piss poor character.I think no matter what angle he's involved in he'll always get booed out of the building.

It's a real shame because the guy is actually very talented, and back in 1998, h was arguably the most over member of DX. The problem was that come 2001/2002, he was still back in 1998. His character was the exact same, his hair was the exact same, his moves were the same and the fans got cheesed off with that. Even KANE had his gimmick changed slightly over the years.

But then again, what did WWF do to help? Since 1999, they've stuck him with Kane, feuded him with Jericho (which didn't produce like it should have done), an then came the infamous X-Factor thing, where they stuck together a useless hippo, a former ECW champion who WWF decided to waste, and X-pac. They gave them some crap music and this hardly helped X-pac's cause.

My advice is: Drop the X-pac and bring in Syxx 2002. Make his hair straight and add red tips. Send him to OVW to refine his wrestling skills and hopefully he can learn some new moves) and hopefuly, the fans will take to him again.

X-Pac is so hated because he, bluntly, is so crap.

Yes, he can wrestle, and yes, he can have entertaining matches, but they are generally only in the scenario where he is the underdog. In 1998, when he was hugely over for a mid carder, he was wrestling against Jarrett, who is a superb wrestler. With Jarrett as the despised heel, and X-Pac as the 'never say die' competitor, the crowd ate it up as X-Pac was never expected to win.

When he wrestled with Kane, TBS and 'Taker, it was a spectacle to see him execute virtually ANY offensive move against men twice the size of him. However, those same moves look lame when done against normal wrestlers such as Kidman or Road Dogg etc.

He cannot make it as heel, because of his size, he is never really expected to win, especially as a heel when he will ultimately lose whatever feud he's wrestling.

He can only work as a face, so it baffles me that the WWF seem intent on keeping him as a heel. He just frustrates the crowd by doing the same moves, and then winning an inconclusive match with a run-in.

Unless he changes as an underdog babyface, X-Pac will continue to suck.

Before Sean Waltman first appeared in the WWF as the 1,2,3 Kid he was earning rave reviews around the independent circut for his heel performances as the Lightning Kid.

The problem is the gimmick, it just sucks.
