Yes, this has been done a million times. :)

I don't think it's a question of whether he deserves it. He is married to the boss' daughter and you'd need to be a complete idiot really to ignore the fact that this would bring you more stroke.

But like I said, it isn't a question of whether he deserves it, he has got a certain position there where he'll be taking over with Steph when Vince steps aside (Vince has said this himself) and there isn't anything that people can do about it.

No way he deserves the power he has he is terrible in the ring. He uses his powers simply to destroy other wrestlers shots at becoming a respectable World Champ. Randy Orton,Booker T.,Chris Jericho,RVD(at Unforgiven2002),and Goldberg(yes he sucks but he could have been a draw) are all just a few of the careers HHH has destroyed

O god here we go again another HHH thread designed to bash the man for the pull he has backstage.

HH may have a certain amount of pull backstage, but then again so do guys like Undertaker and Kurt Angle nowadays. Fact of the matter is what ever HHH does backstage decisions wise he goes out in front ot the people and gives them their moneys worth because he is a fantastic wrestler. Whether or not HHH married Steph or not to get some power backstage no one can say, nor do i think any of us should care because its none of our business. But why bash the man for something we personally know nothing about? if hes bad in the ring thats one thing sure make your point but if hes bad behind closed doors how in the hell are we to know?

That's exactly it. You don't know anything about Triple H in that respect. He married Stephanie, yes, but you don't know why? And that's the truth, you don't. To even suggest that it was solely for power is just plain disgraceful and disrespectful.

And yes, not just Tripps, but guys like Taker, as said above, also have some pull backstage. Most of the main-event veterans do, but that's besides the point, you don't know how Triple H utilizes that, you see what you see on TV, but you have no idea what's been going on backstage.

Triple H is where he is today because he is a main eventer on RAW, and a damned good one at that. Face it. He's a great draw and to call him terrible in the ring would be a major major mistake. If you want terrible in the ring, look at Tyson Tomko...

Triple H is going to be around for time to come, he's a good wrestler and great for the company. You either love him or hate him, but you should respect him no matter what...

I said no - but only cos I don't think he deserves as much power as he has. If 2002 and 2003 showed us nothing else, it's that HHH has a top spot for as long as he wants it, whether it's deserved or not. So I voted no.

However . . . . . that's not to say the guy doesn't deserve any power. He obviously knows the business inside out and has drawn money for much of his career. He just shouldn't have as much as he has in my opinion.

I didnt vote cos basically I think he deserves a certain amount of power but the truth is I dont know how much power he actually has.......he seems to be able to give and take the title as often or as little as he chooses which is wrong if thats whats happening.

All I know is im sick of the constant predictability of it all....I mean I KNEW he was gonna win the belt back off Orton :roll ......So my take on the topic at hand is.....

He definitely deserves to be main eventing and have a good amount of creative control BUT not at the expense of all and sundry.

Im also sick Peepsy, sick of listening to people degrade and make pointless threads about a wrestler who is reall y no different to anyone else. So maybe he has some backstage pull. Who cares. Hes not heading the creative team, hes not the head writer. He alone isnt responsible for the downward spiral the WWE is in. He has nothing to do with SD and thats crap. The company as a whole is failing. So lets not pin the blame on H.

And for the poll to be called does H deserve that much power? how much power? We dont know how much he has so how can we comment on him having too much or too little if we have no idea on how much he is having. Before we start the "yeah but your a H mark so you would defend him". Im all for some critiscm of H if its appropriate and something that we can actually discuss with knowing all or most of the facts. the fact in this case is we dont know how much pull he has backstage. For all we know he could just be the guy who orders the ring gear for people. Im sure hes not but for all we know that could be the case.

My final point, theres lots of factors for the wwes recent dip in form and we cant pin all of the blame on Triple H. his influence on the TV shows is probably very minimal for all we know. Theres hundreds if not thousands of people contributing to each episode of WWE RAW, SD or even Heat everyweek and to pin the blame on one man who helps draw and wrestle a hell of alot more than some others who have been in his position for the slump is ridiculous.

He's the boss's son in law and he's married to someone who heads up the creative team. We don't know how much pull he has backstage? How can anyone in that position not have a huge ammount of pull. Once Vince retires him and Steph will be running the whole creative direction of the show.

We don't know how much pull he has? while none of us have been backstage at any WWE shows to find out the facts point to him having a huge ammount of sway backstage.

It would be impossible for anyone to be married to Steph, be a main event wrestler in teh same company and be vince's son in law and not have sway backstage.

Lets put things in perspective, This guy not only establishes himself as a main eventer in the biggest wrestling company in the world, but then shags steph, gets himself related to the boss and makes himself heir to the empire? And you lot are critiscizing him? We should all be worshipping this guy for the balls to pull all this off not burying him. I mean who here would not trade places with him in a second. As for the whole wrestling perspective, maybe if you weren't so scared of landing on you arse when you jump off the bandwagon you would see that he's improving, and getting back to his best. He's still the company's most bankable star, and more likely to draw in new fans than anyone else. Are you forgetting that with Benoit and Orton, HHH was in the Title wilderness for a good 5 months? Before I get to embedded up the Games arse, yes I do think the company could do with a few new main eventors, and Triple H month after month can get a bit tiresome. But who else would you put there? It's not his fault Vince has screwed up the career of almost every other potential main eventor on RAW. And to be honest I'd rather watch a 30 minute HHH monologue than listen to you people b*tch about him.

the guy looks like shit these days its disgraceful. fair enuff, im no hercules, but when you compare him to the hhh of 4 or even 2 years ago, it is almost shocking the extent to which he has let himself go. i think part of the problem is that being champ is his gimmick, he admits that its all he wants, and its hard to find a place for him outside the title slot. blame wwe, not hhh, cuz 5 years ago they were able to keep guys big without the title, but now they have the pedistal and everyone else bar 3 looking up at it from below.

He's fine as he is right now...Oo

I don't care about how little or how much he has, as I just put all the backstage gossip aside when I watch it.

I like what I see - and I don't really give a crap if H is on virtually every PPV, because he's one of the main 15 of Raw who usually...headline or star in a PPV. Oo

*Yawn* I'm just bored of the whole thing....can we moan about Bradshaw and Heidenreich now? XD
