Guest El Selecta
When was the last time you listened to all the music in the world? Listened to any African Folk, Japanese hardcore, Easten European Techno recently? Have you even heared what this country has to offer such as the wealth of quality Breakcore/mash up stuff? I'm guesing no. I agree that hip-hop is better than alot of music around at the moment at the moment. But I also think there is alot of more interesting music being made around the world than comercial US rap such as what you have quoted. I would personaly say your selection realy doesn't help your cause as there is some of the worst rap being produced at the moment in there. D12 and Eminem release some of the worst produced records I have ever heard! What about Outcast? One of the most original and interesting bands of any genre around at the moment. Dead Prez, responcible for the best bass line ever (hip hop) and one of the few groups around still making political music. On the subject of japanese music, Melt Banana are one of the best bands in the world at the moment. Thoroughly bonkers! Try Guitar Wolf too. Sort of like a Ramones tribute band but mch better than that sounds. If you like electronic stuff check out Ken Ishi for some nice techno or my personal recomendation for 2004 so far, Utabi. This guy makes some of the most interesting and beautiful music I've heard for ages. Ranging from up tempo Mashed up techno stuff to some realy beautiful down tempo/ambienty stuff. Think Aphex Twins nicer stuff having a fight with a game boy. Sounds like it should be the sound track to a manga film.
Guest Trips
The quite simple reason why i said what i did was because they r the only music artists who r real. All u ever here any one else sing about is love and everyone is sick of that bubblegum pussy shit. It is real music about real life situations and they r the best lyricists in the music world period thanx. BIG UP TO SHADY/AFTERMATH/INTERSCOPE and G-UNIT
Guest Nicole
1. Please could you type properly, I really don't appreciate you speaking like "u r da man!" 2. You can't say that artists aren't real. Yeah a lot of people write songs about love and stuff, but its something that affects pretty much everyone in there lives. I could say that rap is all about guns and drugs, but then it would be a generalisation, just like you've said about artists making songs about "bubblegum pussy shit". BIG UP TO SHADY/AFTERMATH/INTERSCOPE and G-UNIT :worship How old are you, in all seriousness? And where do you live? And how "real r u"? To the majority of the civilised world "real life situations" don't amount to getting themselves into a position in which guns and drugs play a huge part in their lives. Nothing wrong with some escapism but you really ought to get some perspective on life. Ever been in love?

Guest Seabass
Eminem's albums are some of the best hip-hop albums ever made. His second one was overall, orginal, funny, shocking and celever and The thrid one, somehow, improved on the second one. Anyway...I hate it when people say "oh you all suck, listen to real music/artists" because put simply....it's down to your own opinion...of course, this excludes those who listen to country (and Good Charlotte :P)
