Pictures of my championship belts...

I noticed Patrick posted a pic of his cool Welsh World title belt he recently recieved, and I thought I'd go ahead and post some pics of my belts also, for those who are interested in such things...

Here is my Winged Eagle, best known as the WWF World title belt used from 1988 - 1998. In my opinion, the greatest World title of all time, it was made for me by Reggie Parks, the man who made all the belts for Vince McMahon's WWF and WCW at that time:

Here is my Reggie IC, best known as the WWF Intercontinental title belt used from 1986 - 1998. One of the best title belts ever, it was made for me by Dave Millican, the man who is the partner of Reggie Parks and a friend on mine I'm proud to say. It is on Yellow leather to match the Ultimate Warriors from WrestleMania VI, Hulk vs Warrior which I'm a huge mark for:

Here is the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI holding these belts:

Here is my WCW World 1992, best known as the WCW World title belt used when Ric Flair left WCW in 1991 and took the Big Gold with him. It was used from 1991 - 1993 or so and is the first one ever made for a collector. It was made for me by Dave Millican:

I currently have 2 belts on order, both with Dave Millican, they should both be here in the next several months after they are made. One is the Hogan 86, which was the WWF World title used only by Hulk Hogan from 1985 - 1987, it was the belt used at WrestleMania 3 and is awesome:

And the other is the dual plated WWF tag belt used from 1986 - 1990 (they went with all gold versions from 1990 onwards), the dual plated (silver and gold) that I have on order were used by Demolition:

Lastly, I have a bunch of Fig Inc replica belts, they are the ones you see on eBay for £150 - £250 each and on WWE Shopzone.com etc. They usually come on crappy, stiff plastic style straps so I have them releathered, here are some pics:

Here is a comparison of the real Winged Eagle on black leather and the replica on white:

Those are some seriously nice belts and if I ever cared enough to want to buy one one day, I think I would speak to this Reggie Parks character.

I still say Remlap's Welsh Belt is the coolest belt ever, but if Boyo were to buy one, he'd go for The Million Dollar Belt, definitely.

I also like Benoit's belt. It's looks heavy, therefore prestigious.

Cheers!

Nice collection of belts BeltMark' date=' how much did they all cost? :eek[/quote']

They are pretty pricey. The real belts made by Reggie and Dave that I have range from about $1300 - 1650 each plus an extra $100 shipping on top each. The replica's are about $175 - $250 plus $140 - $250 for releathering and shipping each.

Out of all the belts on display, my favourites are:

1. The Yellow Leather Intercontinental Belt

2. The one with all the flags on

3. The Winged Eagle

What about you, BeltMark?

Cheers!

My favorite belts in order would be:

1. Winged Eagle

2. Yellow IC

3. Hogan 86 (Flags)

I could list probably my top 50, but I wont, lol. Those are my top 3. There are still alot I want to get, but with the cost, it will be spread over a good few years, which is cool because its always something to look forward to.

You should be aiming for the Million Dollar Belt, and have it encrusted with zirconias. Man, that belt is cool.

Didn't Austin have a belt with a skull on it?

Cheers!

None of the established belt makers are interested in working on a Million dollar belt project. The estimated price is around $5000, which is something I'm definately not willing to pay, plus Vince McMahon had it made by some jeweller in CT, not his belt maker. It would be pricey and a pain in the ass to get one replicated.

As for Austin, yes, he had a WWF Title belt with a Smoking Skull on it, know as the Smoking Skull belt (gasp! lol).

He didnt like the belt at the time, which was the Big Eagle, so he had the Skull belt made for himself and brought it out on WWF TV. Apparently, Vince McMahon was pissed as Austin didnt get permission, and told him to use the proper WWF belt, not the Skull one, so Austin took it off TV and lots of fans wrote in complaining saying they wanted to see the Smoking Skull belt, so they brought it back and worked an angle around it.

Here is the Big Eagle which Austin didnt like (Its one of my favorites):

If I were ever crazy enough (no offense) to spend several thousand dollars on a replica belt, my ultimate prize would be the Winged Eagle World Championship Belt like the one worn by Randy Savage during his reign. That was worn during WWF's glory days at the top. Good times.

That would be my dream belt to have.

No offence taken, although obviously I dont consider it crazy. The belts I buy are exactly like the ones used in the old WWF. They are made by the same man, same size, weight, depth of engraving, everything is perfect.

As for the price, you have to remember that a $1500 belt is about £800 or so in Great British pounds which doesnt seem so bad and which isnt much to own something to have dreamed about for 15 years etc.

See, I dont drink, smoke or do drugs. Alot of people will spend £25+ per week of ciggerettes, then they will go out Friday and Saturday night and spend anywhere from £40 - £150 per week on booze, and for those who do indulge, they will spend another lump of cash on weed, pills etc, however much that may cost.

I dont spend my money on any of that, so I put it back and save to buy my belts, and I still try not to break into my wages, as I will sell stuff on eBay for spending money for belts.

I have a house, wife and son, so as long as they have everything they need and are happy, I'm happy with that and they both realise I take my belts vey seriously so they dont mind me spending the money on them that I do.

By the way, if you want a Winged Eagle like Savage held, why dont you buy the Figures Inc. replica version? It is a very good replica, and looks alot like the real belt, and you can buy them on eBay for less than £200.

That is one hell of a collection, i recently purchased the current Raw title from wweshopzone.com which i think is great. I will hopefully getting the Smoking Skull belt next or the proper WCW title.

One thing, i always thought it was the Winged Eagle belt that Austin didnt like, as on his "Hell Yeah" video he explains that the belt cut his chin when delivering a stunner so he decided to change it.

Congrats on picking up the World title, its a nice piece for sure!

As for Austin, no, he had a problem with the Big Eagle (the belt on blue leather which I posted a pic of earlier), he said the jagged parts at the top gashed his chin when he used the stunner as you stated.

When he won the WWF title from HBK at WrestleMania XIV, he took the Winged Eagle, but the very next night on RAW, the Winged Eagle was retired and Vince gave him the new belt, which was the Big Eagle on blue leather, so Austin never got the opportunity to use the Winged Eagle as his belt, thus never had a problem with it.
