VHS is what a tape is in England (Apologies if that sounds patronising). Aussie's confrom to the PAL system, correct?

Hi,

Sods law; one of my tyres went flat today (nail through it) and had to splash out £130 for a new one, hence I'll be unable to pursue my interest further.

Apologies for any inconvienece, and thanks for your offering :xyx

Just to clarify between the two of you, PAL is a colour format used by Europe, and Australia. VHS's are used all over the world and will play in pretty much any player. Trading tapes between the UK and Australia would leave no problems play-wise, and that is the same for products like computer games. The only place that i know of that uses a different colour format is the US which uses NTSC.

I believe Japan is different too, but I could be incorrect about that.
