  1. As many of you might know I have been involved in the wrestling business for 9 years now. Starting with wrestling news websites, co owning and running my own wrestling promotion, putting on some amazing shows and breaking the mold in british wrestling (Not me personally, but some of the most amazing guys I have ever known) right up to starting the 1mmanews.com website. The thing is I dont have the time or the passion to keep on running the sites, the wrestle-zone.co.uk website has been running for 8 years and again we ruled and in our peak we were in the UK's top 1'000 websites, yes all websites not just wrestling. Over the past couple of years I have let it go and thats not been fair on the writers or the sponsors. The wrestling forums have some amazing members and the contribution is good, again i feel that i can not give it the full attention it deserves. I am seriously considering selling up, I have put a lot of work, sweat and tears into the websites and even thinking about handing it over upsets me, but like everything good in life you have to know when your done. I suppose also if i can make a few quid ( I could do with it..lol) then its hard work with some benefit. I have 4 main sites (with 3 months hosting) http://www.wrestle-zone.co.uk (Various DVD's and Books sent for review monthly) http://www.1mmanews.com (Various DVD's and Books sent for review monthly) http://www.thewrestlingforums.co.uk (plus licences for IPS) http://www.wrestlingdirectoryuk.com domains I own include: http://www.wzuk.co.uk (Hosting with that too) http://www.wrestlezoneuk.co.uk http://www.1mmanews.info http://www.scoopslam.com http://www.scoopslam.net http://www.scoopslam.info http://www.mmadvdreview.com If I do sell i will sell the lot together. If I do not sell them I will more than likely close down wrestle-zone.co.uk and 1mmanews.com, holding all the domains. I will keep the wrestling forums running and maybe with the stress of the other sites gone I can put more effort into it. Thoughts and offers welcome?
  2. Massive news on some amazing shows will be announced at the beginning of September...
  3. Quick Results... Full House of 300, the crowd were hot all night. Anthony McIntyre def Micky L Carbon & Big Ben Stone def The North East Bulldogs (Carbon suffered a horrific injury to ACL, and is sheduled for reconstructive surgery on Thursday) The Heart Throb 'Iain Robinson def Little Dragon and retained the Zero G Title Lionheart & Chris Whitton def The Empire The Drew Galloway def Iceman in Steel Cage Match. Iceman was about to leave the cage when the 7foot 3inches 'Masacre' led by Sir Jonathon Britain came to the ring and smashed the boor in Icemans face, This left the door open for Drew Galloway to escape. All in all a great professional show, once again filmed with broadcast cameras, DVD's of this show and last weeks show should be released within the next 3 weeks. 4. http://www.wzwuk.com/news/data/upimages/building_the_cage_small.jpg The 15ft wZw steel cage has to be one of the most brutal cages I have ever witnessed and being present at its construction has shown what a complex build this is. The Cage, will be erected around the ring, and will sit on the floor. The cage stands a massive 15ft high and has been built from steel bars and security fencing, all welded and carefully built by the New York Productions team. Tomorrows show in Peterlee will see two of the biggest named wrestlers in the UK go head to head, Iceman and Drew Galloway will battle it out to see who can escape the cage. After a brutal assault on Iceman last week, Drew Galloway steps into Iceman’s world, the world of extreme!

  7. Last night after the wZw Ponteland show (http://www.talkwrestlingonline.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38033) Drew Galloway was in a real bad mood after losing to Micky L and headed straight for the top of the wZw tree. 'The Iceman', he slammed into his dressing room and attacked him from behind, after the team england wrestlers managed to drag Drew out, Iceman sent a chilling message to Drew Galloway and challenged him to a CAGE MATCH at this weeks show in Peterlee. To watch the attack and listen to what Iceman had to say check out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HN_encGb3tk Friday 13th July 2007 Peterlee Leisure Centre St Cuthberts Way Peterlee County Durham SR8 1AF Tel: (0191) 5862400 Tickets: £8.00 & £28.00 4 x Tickets Special £25.00 WEB EXCLUSIVE DEAL http://www.wzwuk.com/shop http://www.wzwuk.com/images/PETERLEE%20POSTERsml.jpg
  8. Quick Results. A full report will follow soon... Approx 350 in attendance, a great atmosphere and the crowd were hot all night! The brand new stage set and lighting rig was unveiled and I know i am biased but I have to say I have not seen anything bigger and better outside TNA and WWE, with a live 3 camera edit shown on screen (with no delay) moved the show one step closer to what wzw are aiming to achieve. Dual Nations Trophy Tournament Liam Thompson def Carbon (Scotland 1 - 0 England) Iain Robinson def Jake Rockwell (Scotland 2 - 0 England) Drew Galloway came out first to the ring, then attacked Micky L as he came out, he took Micky L to the top of the tage and powerbombed him off the stage through a table on the outside. Medics were called in and Micky was stretchered off. Iceman def Highlander in a Hardcore match (Scotland 2 - 1 England) Then we had the interval the wZw 'In the Zone' Dancers entertained the corwd with a couple of hot hot dance routines... The Empire (John Britain & Bad News Anderson) def Lionheart and Jack Jester (Scotland 2 - 2 England) Drew Galloway was about to be presented the trophy as Micky L did not appear to be making the match. Just as Drew was being handed over the trophy Micky's music hit the PA and Micky L came to the ring, took a severe beating but by a fluke took the win. Micky L def Drew Galloway (Scotland 2 - 3 England) Micky L was presented the trophy by the wZw 'In the Zone' Dancers, down came the England team to join in the celebrations. Aftermatch, Drew Galloway stormed backstage and attacked The Iceman in his locker room (footage of this will be live on the website tomorrow evening), throwing Iceman over the medic table into the wall. After the locker room pulled Drew out away from Iceman, Iceman made a chilling warning to Drew Galloway, that next week in Ponteland, Iceman and Drew Galloway will be facing off in the main event in a number 1 contenders match for the wZw heavyweight title in a 15foot high steel cage!!!!! ICEMAN VS DREW GALLOWAY - STEEL CAGE MATCH NEXT FRIDAY IN PETERLEE!!! http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1303.JPG Part of the over the ring lighting rig http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1386.JPG The live editing studio http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1319.JPG The massive stage and set http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1322.JPG wZw TV commentary team http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1330.JPG http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1332.JPG http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1346.JPG http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1378.JPG http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1381.JPG http://www.wzwuk.com/gallery/albums/ponteland%202007/101_1390.JPG A few pictures from tonights show...
  9. FULL CARD FOR THE ENGLAND VS SCOTLAND SHOWDOWN The Iceman (England) Vs The Highlander (Scotland) (Hardcore Rules Match) http://www.wzwuk.com/news/data/upimages/icemanvshighlander.jpg The rivalry between these two wrestlers stretches back six years and many a bloody battle has happened in both wZw and BCW rings. This match was made a Hardcore Rules Match at the request of both wrestlers. There are no rules in this match. Falls can count anywhere and all weapons are legal. Iceman speaking to the commissioner this afternoon made this statement ‘Highlander we have been in many battles over the years, we have bled and broken each others bones. I want to take you back to the night that nearly ended your career, that night in Dumfries when I almost broke your back, that night when you were raised 7 foot in the air and power bombed from a 6 foot high stage through a table. You thought that was the most extreme moment in your career, well I am going to tell you now highlander that was nothing, that was mild, that was easy to what I have planned at Ponteland Leisure Centre on the 7th July.’ Colossal Powers (England) Vs Lionheart & Jack Jester (Scotland) (Tag Team Match) http://www.wzwuk.com/images/colossalpowersvslionandjester.jpg BCW’s Lionheart and Jack Jester have decided to tag up for one night only and take on the established wZw tag team of Bad News Anderson and Jake Rockwell ‘The Colossal Powers.’ The Colossal Powers on what seems to be a bit of a losing streak are hoping to turn their fortunes around and destroy their opponents. Its going to be a case of the high flying super fast BCW team against the hard hitting powerful style the wZw team. This tag team match could be match of the night! Micky L (England) Vs Drew Galloway (Scotland) (Singles Match) http://www.wzwuk.com/news/data/upimages/mickyvsdrew.jpg One of the strangest match ups in the history of wZw, this is the giant of Drew Galloway against the much smaller Micky L. On paper this match looks like it could be over in seconds. Drew Galloway not only has a massive size and power advantage but can match the speed and agility of Micky L. This will be Micky L’s biggest match to date and could be Drew Galloways last for wZw before he flies off to join the WWE in America. Iain Robinson vs Darkside (Zero G Division Match) http://www.wzwuk.com/images/iainvsdarkside.jpg Probably two of the best highflying, fast paced wrestlers in the UK will go head to head in a Zero G style match. (Zero G Matches have more relaxed rules, with no count outs and you can only finish the match by hitting a top rope move) The wZw Zero G champion will take on Darkside in a match that keep all on the edge of their seats.. Carbon vs Liam Thompson (Singles Match) http://www.wzwuk.com/images/carbonvsthompson.jpg Carbon the current wZw Inter-Promotional Champion and one of the longest reigning champions in wZw history will go against one of BCW's up and coming stars. Tony Spitfire Vs Lance Thunder (Grudge Match) http://www.wzwuk.com/news/data/upimages/spittyvsswanny.jpg The only match of the show that is not part of the tournament. Tony Spitfire and Lance Thunder up until the last show at Seaham were one of the most dominant tag teams in the UK. Seaham saw the tag team lose against ‘Carbon’ and rookie ‘Ben Stone.’ Thunder attacked Tony Spitfire accusing him of being a loser and not worthy to wear ‘The North East Bulldogs’ jacket. Before a full in ring brawl happened, the commissioner ‘Phil Robinson’ came to the ring and told them if they want to fight they do it on the next show. The Pre-sales for this show are already indicating that this could be a sell out show, so both sets of wZw and BCW fans are advised to get their tickets now and support your promotion. http://www.wzwuk.com/news/data/upimages/ponteland_web.jpg Tickets : http://www.wzwuk.com/shop website: http://www.wzwuk.com

  12. The Puppet Master is Coming… Peterlee, March 2007 saw the introduction of the 7ft, 30 stone, ‘Crazy Clown’ debut in wZw, we were all under the guise that it was Sir Johnathon Britain and the ‘The Empire’ that had drawn the monster into the wZw fold and using his sheer size, force and strength to incapacitate ‘The Iceman.’ Earlier this week, wZw management received a video from ‘The Puppet Master’ and in a chilling message he warned wrestlers, fans and management that he is behind the ‘Crazy Clown’ and it is he who is pulling the strings! This video can be found by clicking the link below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1KWxvKPtn8 So with the next wZw show only days away (Friday 1st June) at the Seaham Leisure Centre Deneside Recreation Grounds Seaham County Durham SR7 8NT (0191) 581 6366 or (0191) 581 6788 The Puppet Master will be facing the public along with the 7ft Monster ‘The Crazy Clown.’ Tickets are on sale now at the venue or can be purchased at http://www.wzwuk.com/shop The is shaping up and matches announced are as follows. Iain Robinson (Champion) Vs Micky L Zero G Title Match Micky L was the last man to enter the wZw Zero G Gauntlet match at the last show in Peterlee, he defeated Little Dragon who had was the first wrestler in the match and with help from Max Heat became the number 1 contender for a Zero G title match against 'The Heart Throb' Iain Robinson. These two wrestlers were once tag team partners (Full Pack) and have had several matches against each other before, none will be as important as tonight's match as this is the title most of the wZw want to hold! The Colossal Powers Vs Chris Whitton & Max Heat Tag Team Table Match As one of the most dominant tag teams on the current wZw roster and being part of The Empire led by Sir Johnathon Britain, The Colossal Powers are in new territory taking on a table match and with the combined experience of Chris Whitton and Max Heat who have both had many table matches in the past this match could be a mistake and could lead to a disastrous defeat! The North East Bulldogs Vs Carbon & Big Ben Stone Tag Team Match The North East Bulldogs bored with current wZw tag team action in wZw and put out an open challenge to any wrestlers in the wZw wrestler locker room to create a tag team and take them on. The wZw Inter-Promotional Champion Carbon and a returning Big Ben Stone have accepted the challenge and are aiming to create an upset. For more information on this show check out the wZw Official Website : http://www.wzwuk.com
  13. First I am not the best at making Music Videos and using adobe premier is probably not the best tool for them. Anyway, I have knocked together a full music video featuring some of the action at the last wZw Show in Peterlee. Thoughts and comments are welcome as always...
