  1. I have this ringtone too.. Mr Big stuff is the name of it
  2. I dont think the players respect Glenn at all.. You can see it in their body language. . Take for example Kieron Dyer and Emre.. None of them looked like they wanted to win on Monday night against Reading. Dyer was captain and didnt seem to give a crap .Since the defeat at Alkmaar ( about 10 games ago ) we have only played well twice and that was against Arsenal and Chelsea. we are playing crap football.. I dont care if Allardyce plays long ball or ugly football. .Its a results business and Im only interested in 3 points. .We used to be entertaining but thats 10 years ago.

  4. I'm assuming Meatloaf is Big Sam ? Look at what he has done at Bolton. The guys biggest transfer was Anelka who has proved to be good signing. He has guys like Nicky Hunt, Faye, Davies, Stelios, Gardner, Meite and others playing above themselves.. They are not world beaters but what they are are 100% committed, we need to have our players giving this effort He had 23 people in his backroom staff, He is well into his sports sciences, diets, medical etc .... We have ex players like terry mcdermott ( what does he do ? ) and Lee Clark.. Our club is run like a joke . Someone like Allardyce has the potential to sort us out. We have decent players and he would get them playing to the maximum of their ability. .If he was managing us on Monday night he would have given Dyer and a few others the b*llocking of their life..

  6. would be great if we got Big Sam... He will get the best out of the players we have at the club.. get rid of the deadwood for a start and back to basics and work on proper defending roeder got decent west ham team relegated in 2003 with 42 points Newcastle with 2 games to go this season are on 42 points !!! scary stuff that. Only that west ham and others have been poorer than us this seasonthen we would be really really worried

  8. Mascherano was immense last night.. One yellow card and he would have missed the Champions League Final and yet he didnt shirk 1 challenge Fair play to Liverpool.. Just shows you Romans millions cant buy him the Champions League title ( yet anyway ) I would love Newcastle to be in a position like Liverpool, Chelsea but not for a few years Id say

  11. Taken from sportinglife.com "Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed terms on a new five-year contract at Old Trafford. The deal will keep the in-form Portuguese international at the club until at least June 2012. Ronaldo, 22, has been linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona since last summer's World Cup in Germany but has now committed his future to the Premiership leaders. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: "It is fantastic news, it emphasises the point that Cristiano is happy here and that he is at the right club. "He has a great relationship with the team, staff and the fans and he will go on to be one of Manchester United's great players." Only this week there were further reports that the player's agent had held talks with Madrid. But Ronaldo added: "I am delighted. I spoke with Sir Alex and (chief executive) David Gill about my future and everyone knew that I wanted to stay. "I am very happy at the club and I want to win trophies and hopefully we will do that this season." " Even though I support Newcastle this is great news for the Premiership.. He showed on Tuesday why he is wanted by nearly all the top teams
  12. Friday the 13th.. was on last night on TCM.. good film and I love the soundtrack Love the Friday the 13th series as well as Nightmare on Elm street ( got the boxset ) and the Halloween movies too
  13. The courtroom scene in A Few Good Men .. with Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson... the bit around " you cant handle the truth " those few minutes are awesome IMO
  14. Brock Lesnar for me , definitley
  15. I drink Heineken. I do like Budweiser and Guinness too though..
  16. Final Destination 3, not a bad film...have ordered " Relentless " from cdwow... a good serial killer film from 1989, looking forward to seeing that now when I get it
  17. It would be a start getting rid of Bramble. Even if he left in a free transfer in the summer.. All the wages we would be saving ( approx 20-30k a week ) He is here over 4 years now and is still making the same basic errors.. He has worked under Sir Bobby, Souness and now Roeder. He seemed to be doing alright under Souness but now hes just gone backwards... I dont care if hes not full of confidence at the moment. Thats not the fans problem , thats his. .He is on big money... ( what he earns in 7 days takes some of us 1-2 years to earn,) thats really put that into perspective Hopefully rumours of Upson leaving Birmingham are true.. Definitely need to replace Bramble AND Boumsong. .Nobody has replaced Boumsong yet
  18. Its definitely a must win and sheffield utd the following week is another must win.. Hopefully having Pearson as his assistant will help the defenders... Pearson is supposed to be a no nonsense type of guy.. If Roeder lasts until Christmas then he will have to buy a few players in January no doubt about that.. If he doesnt then I think hes in big trouble We have already lost 6 games in the Premiership this season after only 9 games... thats bad form... Even Souness wasn't that bad
  19. Roeder seems to be a genuine nice guy but I think he is just a yes man for freddy shepherd... Every man and his dog knew Newcastle needed at least 3 new defenders at the very least in the summer and that was before we sold Boumsong and Elliott... and what did he do ? Buy Damien Duff when we didnt need Duff.. We had nzogbia who was one of our best players last season.. now we couldnt afford to turn our nose up at Duff as he is a very good player but at the same time if we had a limited budget we didnt need duff.. Then the disaster of transfer day deadline with having bids for lucas neill, zat knight, robert huth and mark viduka turned down we buy sibierski and an out of shape olivier bernard.. Bernard hasnt been even in the first team squad since he signed nearly 2 months ago Freddy Shepherds head has to roll this time.. its not roeders fault but hes just not up to it as a top flight manager.. It was roeder who spent a combined 10 million on don hutchinson and tomas repka when he was manager of west ham united I feel sorry for Glenn Roeder as he seems to be a decent bloke but he had the chance to buy Sol Campbell and Robert Huth early in the transfer window and waited until Huth was at Middlesboro to try and sign him... I dont know whats going to happen but Freddy needs to go and Roeder too im afraid
  20. Moulin Rouge when Nicole Kidmans character dies when Ewan McGregor is crying.. I cant remember why I laughed I think it was the way McGregor was crying... It was like the way Ben Stiller was crying at the end of " Theres something about Mary " it was so over exaggerated (sp? ) well anyway I burst out laughing and all these people in front of me turned around and gave me a killer stare...
  21. Scott Hall / Razor Ramon would be my pick. He is still one of my favourites even though he wasted his career with his demons and alcohol problems. Truly a shame he never won the big one
  22. R.I.P. Paul you will be missed.. Good Snooker player too
  23. Duff only cost us 5 million... Hopefully Newcastle can get in Graveson, Bridge and Martins Martins is very quick so will be like Bellamy in a way for Newcastle but we still need another striker to score 20 goals a season .. Kuyt is been mentioned but Im not sure we can afford Martins and Kuyt Owen is a write off for this season and all we have is Ameobi and Luque.. Martins will cost us 8/9 million but still need another striker to play alongside him that will also score goals Bridge will be great for us at the back... Graveson will add a bit of steel in midfield Also talk of Real Madrid offering Julio Baptiste for Reyes in a swap deal. I would love to see Baptista play in the Premiership.. Himself and Henry would be awesome
  24. Patrick Vieira has signed for Inter Milan for 6.5 million from Juventus . cheap enough really compared to 18.6 million for Carrick who is 4/5 younger
