  1. For those that think the current tag titles don't mean anything will be delighted to know that WWE are adding ECW tag titles as well.
  2. He hurt his knee when he first came up from OVW with the MNM gimmick, he gutted it out far longer than he should have for fear of lossing his spot and as a result got hooked on painkillers, which is why he failed his first wellness test. He managed to get clean only to come back and have his face smashed in, its wrestling so of course he came back way to early and immediately fell back into the painkillers again. He probaly falls into the Kurt Angle catergory as someone who should get as far away from wrestling as possible to get clean and healthy, but no doubt he'll be in TNA or working indies as soon as his 60 days are up.
  3. The Johnny Ace reign of terror continues then.
  4. I have enrolement on the 20th for Queens in Belfast, then its the real reason we all go to University, are Student Loans being paid into are accounts. Only down side is I lost my student card so i'll probaly have to pay £10 for a replacement which is a total rip off.
  5. It was preempted in most major markets and only an hour was shown in others.
  6. I haven’t been more down after a Northern Ireland game in years, we’ve proved time and time again that have the ability to win games like that, if we prepare well and players stay committed and perform any were near their ability. Yesterday was shocking, tactically we were inept, the substitutions were bizarre and certain player’s performances were an embarrassment. But this is Northern Ireland, so we’ll probably go out and pull off a decent result against the Spanish on Wednesday, the feel good factor will come back and the IFA and media will talk up the potential of the squad, then next month when Latvia come to Windsor it’ll be the same old story again. Lawire Sanchez has achieved a lot with Northern Ireland, when he took over we were at are lowest point ever, now we’ve climbed 50 places in the rankings and gotten results against bigger teams. But it can’t disguise the fact that repeatedly we have failed to win games against weaker teams and thrown away games we were in control of. On another note, what the hell is with the amount of people yelling “No Surrender” during God save the Queen at the England and Northern Ireland games yesterday, its as loud as I’ve ever heard it, if you want to support you’re country then at least show some respect for your own national anthem.

  8. http://www.consolevania.com Don't know if anybody at TWO watches this but its highely recomended. Its a Glasgow based games show by Rab Florence who previously was a writer for Chewin the Fat', they have there own spin off on BBC 2 Scotland called VideoGaiden which is back on in November. Their also huge wrestling fans. All of series 2 is up for download on the site and is well worth a look. Series 2 Some of the best clips are up on YouTube: Reggie on J Allard 1
  9. Microsoft signed Tim Schafer up after Grim Fandango to try and bolster their exclusive range for the original Xbox, of course it being Microsoft they dropped him and his studio a few months before Psychonauts was released. Pitty, it was a fantastic game that got little if any promotion and sold very poorely as a result. It looks like Double Fine Productions have tied up a deal to work with Vivendi so could me more from them in the future.
  10. I was hugely disappointed with PES5. The hype before its release was of a slowed down approach with less reliance on sprinting, more strategy needed for tackling and altogether a better attempt at realism and moving away from its arcade roots. Which all sounded great until I played the game. The problem is that a lot of what they added doesn’t really come off and takes away from the game more often that adding to it. With the difficulty of the game defending offers little challenge on any setting and the computer AI is amazingly defense minded, for example playing Northern Ireland vs. Brazil on 6* to find that right from the start Brazil were happy to stick 10 men behind the ball and camp out in there own box, sort of kills the realism the game wants to reach. As a result of the AI the majority of games I played were never back and forth but me keeping possession and trying to break down the opposition. When I started moving up the difficulty levels I probably hand more 0-0 draws in PES5 than PES1 to 4 combined. The other two main gripes with game are that 5 years on Pro Evolution game still have the super human goalkeepers and the obvious problems with referee. I wouldn’t say I hated PES5 and I certainly got more play out of it than a lot of other games but for me a lot of the fun of the previous series wasn’t here.
  11. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney~!, Animal Crossing and Resident Evil are all out on Friday with Trauma Center out in another couple of weeks. Good time to own a DS, almost makes up for last years terrible launch lineup and complete lack of decent games.
  12. For any DS owners, this looks interesting: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=&products_id=8731&
  13. Speaking of Pittbulls, from BBC Northern Ireland:
  14. Bolton, two games in hand and an easier run-in.
