Talk Wrestling Online Community Awards 2008: The Winners
Red05 replied to Kam's topic in Wrestling Forum
Congratulations to the winners. It's interesting to see the General Chat forum scoop the other forum award, what with the Other Sports taking it last year. I'm also happy to see the US Election thread and Darkstar's signature win, as well as Chris2K's HoF induction. Apart from that... pretty uninspiring all around from my point of view. -
Just been listening to some music by The Crave, the band who'll be supporting Shinedown later this month. They're... alright. Pretty standard light rock is my first impression, but I'm still happy to see them. I'm sure it'll be fun.

I went to college, got my assignment for the week (which we can do at home - score!), and then went shopping with Sam. Now I'm home and chilling out until I go to work later.

When you have the reputation DC does though, and you post something like that, it's easier to take it that way. It does kind of read a little funny too, controlling and whatnot.

Maybe the words I used were more direct or something, but I typed it in the same casual manner as my earlier post. I guess I just delved a little depper into the issue as well. Ah well, trust me, I'm eating chicken dippers; I'm a happy chappie. -

Did I? :doh32: You know I'm talking about whoever made that complaints page, right? Not this thread? Because I do think making a page on it is kind of stupid... Yeah, I could've introduced it. -

I was basically endorsing their viewpoint, but ironically. They're the whiny people who can't get over the standard rules. Most of the removed pictures clearly break rules, and even those that are taken down perhaps slightly over zelously... if you know Facebook doesn't like breastfeeding pictures, then don't post them up... and complain afterwards for hippy reasons or whatever. Be real and accept it. Facebook can't bend its rules just one and not the rest, they don't have to budge at all. I told you how I personally feel earlier, my own viewpoint is pretty central, safe but liberal or whatever. But in real terms... those women should get over it. I mean hell, they're talking about what's beautiful and all that, well let's post pictures of a couple making love to conceieve a child. Let's go all the way, show it all, the human body is a wonderful thing and all that. Am I going too far? Perhaps, but it's no more stupid that starting a page based on how angry you are that Facebook doesn't like you breaking their rules. Which they don't even have to justify because it's the internet. Good points, I agree with them all. But it's just how it is... *shrug*... it's just how it is. -

You know what, maaaan, Facebook is against the beauty of humanity, maaan. The male wang's primary function is to conceive life, maaaaan, it's beautiful. We should be able to show people our life creating tools. Facebook is compressing the spirit, maaaan. Let's break those rules, maaan, because we want to start some kind of movement instead of accept that it's not an aprropriate place to post those things, maaaan. Wah wah wah wah wah wah wah. -

Just had a look at some of the pictures removed by FaceBook. A lot of them have nipples in, so straight away, like it or not - they're not allowed. "Awww but she's breastfeeding, lol", doesn't matter - they're gone. And yes, guys nipples are acceptable, because they're seen differently. They just are, some of the whiney women on that page need to get over that. Very few of those pictures, for me, were "artistic". In fact, call me shallow or whatever, but a lot of them were kind of disgusting. I see no problem with most of those being removed, regardless of the kid or what they're doing, there's a titty hanging out. That's it. -

Torres is back, baby. Even before the tap in, he looked lively and menacing. Good.

I dislike the idea of Lucy Pinder in CBB with all those middle aged men making the same, crap, pervy jokes about her. I think it's really, really, really... sad.

I don't know why anybody would upload a breastfeeding picture with the nipple showing, to be honest. If the baby's covering it, sure, upload away. But why would you put one up with your nipple hanging out? Take them down, for me, but breastfeeding pictures where the nips are hidden, keep them up. Nothing wrong there. Also, there's a difference between showing a man's nipple and a woman's. There just is. -

Welp, someone best order a new shed load of panties for the fan girls. *sigh* I can't like Doctor Who when so many stupid people gush over the gaaawjus lead star so much. They ruin Doctor Who for me. I don't know this guy so he could well be very talented, hell, Tennant was, but the fans girls.... I hate them. They RUIN Doctor Who, but sadly, it looks like the bosses are too afraid to lose that audience. From now on, every Doctor will be young and attractive... :( Ecclestone > Tennant

I'd say for a cleaner, bluesy tone you could get better with a Strat. And, for a full on balls to the wall gutsy rock sound, a Les Paul is probably better. But for pure sound flexibility and playability (as you say, they're very playable), Ibanez's are damn good. I wonder, Strat is on one side, Les Paul on the other.... are the Ibanez's in the middle with the PRSs? I'd kinda say so, but would like to know your thoughts, Slow?
