Nobody's seen The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug? For shame. There's a fancy new IMAX 3D digital high frame rate theater in Chicago that's not in Navy Pier. Was fan-****ing-tastic. Took me weeks to finally fit it in, tried last Tuesday, but couldn't get to the north side in time through the brutal snow storm. To be honest there was no chance I could've not liked this movie. Only thing to disappoint was the short screen time given to Beorn. But all the scenes within the mountain, and Smaug himself were gorgeous, glorious and badass.
