  2. the wwe has made history with the story lines but each year they all have something similar. do you think the wwe should just put smackdown and raw under one roof again or should they just make the drafts more exciting?

  3. The point people are missing is this. Competition is healthy. WWE's roster is too large and a bit bloated imo. WWE only changed in response to WCW. At the moment running a one horse race there's no motivation to evolve and change the product. TNA is starting as an underdog so will be eager to avoid booking errors and improve their storylines until they can expand their repetoire.

  6. You shouldn't really need to go back so soon after you've gone up. I understand that taking matches can seem a daunting task but really it's the most fun part of fedding. Imagine all the times you've watched a match and gone "If he'd have done this move it would have been sooooo cool" well now you can! If you want to write a practice match and have someone look at it then thats fine. Just pop a PM to either Me, Fill, 'Stof, DS or Boyo and we'll gladly cast an eye over it but you'd be better served trying to take a match that opens a show. It really won't be that bad I promise!

  8. I still don't think the movie had a whole lot to do with it. If there was no movie, he still would have won last night. I don't think Edge really carried Cena, either. The 2 just had good chemistry, and it helped their matches. And I know, how unfair on Edge. He should hold the title for at least 2 more years because he was obviously the greatest champion in the history of wrestling.

  15. Who upset CoTT? If Meltzer did indeed play the smarks, it would be superb. I still think to this day that Edge, Matt Hardy and WWE played everyone, with the whole Edge/Lita/Matt love triangle thing. If Meltzer "got in on the act" and no one found out, it would be "fan" tastic.

  16. As Douglas Adams said it has become an SEP (Somebody Elses Problem) that is something that exists, but only the person with it sees it. I follow the laws of this land because they happen to agree with my own hardwired laws, not because I'm told to follow them, but because I agree with a lot of them. Telling people what to do is the downfall of society, ask and ye shall recieve, tell and ye shall grieve. The problems have always been there, always since society began. My question was always, What was our intended goal at the beginning of Civilisation?" Why did tribes of people band together? Easy because it was safer in a harsh environment, where you or your partner could be eaten/killed on any given day, so civilisation was borne of necessity, remove the need for it and society collapses. These last generations in this country have no shared experiences, like being bombed or being so skint you had to borrow your neighbours suit, so you could pawn it to eat. Another thing is the delusion that some people are under that fame and fortune require no hard work, so a generation of talentless wannabes, try to do anything to be famous, then they themselves get fans, who wannabe them, that is sad and damaging. We need a shot of reality, but even then the damage has been done by f3ckless fathers and useless mothers. The world is blowing itself up and all the kids(not all kids) are interested in is mobile phones and gossip. Responsibilty always lies with the individual, but maturity is the acceptance of responsibility for your actions, and while there are those 40 year old adolescents and foolish power drinkers acting as role models for children the problems will get worse before they get better. The answers are simple but MP's don't have the balls to upset the electorate, for the sake of society as a whole. Our lives have become political ping pong balls, and until a true leader stands up and makes him or herself counted nothing will change. "Only those crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who actually do."

  17. Hello to you, the (mostly) good folk of TWO. This forum is, for the most part, an fantastic place to read and take part in good discussions and has a wide range of very interesting members who make intelligent and witty replies to good questions. Okay you get the odd noob poster, but on the whole you have people from the UK, Ireland, Austrailia, America etc, with various religious beliefs, with different values and upbringings getting along in harmony. The good folk of TWO make jokes about anything, and it is all taken in good humour. Now, it probably seems from the above that I am about to launch into a huge rant about TWO. But that is far from the truth. I think TWO is great, and want to know why society cannot work as TWO does, with everybody getting along. Now, I know this is an internet forum, but the people here are still true to themselves, and represent a good cross section of society. After all the above, the basic question I have is when did the world go PC, and stop people saying what they think? When did people start to think about suing (sp) anybody for anything? Why can't parents smack a naughty child? Why aren't todays sportsmen and women the warrior-like figures they once were, where they put their heart into everything they did to win, instead of footballers diving, athletes taking drugs etc? When did everybody go nuts about healthy eating? Why isn't the world run by a government consisting of Mr T, Chuck Norris, William Shatner, Dr Kennedy and The Hoff? Okay, perhaps the last one is not so important, but what do you all think about the other questions?

  19. Or the Chairman of the board for the last decade, who sits in Gorilla position for every Raw, Smackdown and ECW taping, the chairman of the board who personally watches every pre tape before it airs until it meets his satisfaction, or the chairman of the board who sits and produces each WWE brand show each and every week... The key word in your argument is the daughter who is likely to inherit the company. At this moment in time Stephanie is an employee at her fathers company, and where she may have some authority, all her decisions have to go through Vince first. As for Triple H, he is a wrestler. He is employed as a wrestler, and where his status and stock within the WWE maybe higher than someone like Booker T for example, this is mainy due to the number of years he has been with the WWE compared to any elevated position due to him being married to Stephanie Mcmahon. To suggest he marches around backstage wielding an axe to any potential storyline over Vince...is slightly ludicrous There is sometimes a difference between fact and the fiction thrown around wrestling chat rooms, its knowing when to decipher the two....;)

  20. I believe it all went wrong when the genreal public decided that it wasn't up to them to make sure their country was a safe, tidy, close nit community. These days people assume that it is someone elses responsibilty to make sure that they have a good life. Not got a job, well I don't have to do anything about that. I'll just subsist on benefits, knock my 16 year old girlfirend up and get a free house, register as disabled because I hit my thumb with hammer and watch Trisha all day. It's sickeneing how many people just throw their hands up in the air and say "well, it's not my fault". It's not my fault my teenage kids kick to death that guy for no reason, it's not my fault I sit on my ass all day eating crisps til I'm morbidly obeses, it's not my fault that I got pissed beat up some guy assualted a policeman and then took up valuable A+E time being sick on the floor. The problems of society are bred by society and can only be sorted by that same society. It doesn;t matter how many police, mp's, social workers you try and throw at the problem. the simple fact that no one is told that it's their fault, for fear of being discriminatory, means no one is taight to care about the consequences of their actions.
