  1. What's new in this club
  2. Sure. He's played a vampire before and in some fictional tales bats turn into vampires and vice versa, so it's like he's been the understudy for Batman all along. Plus, Batman's love matches have always appeared awkward to me and so did the overwrought relationship between Pattinson's character and his love interest in the Twilight franchise. So yeah, I think he can handle it
  3. It's old news, but in case you haven't heard, Cedric Diggory* has been cast as the next Batman. I'm quite shocked at the choice. Do you reckon he can pull it off? *Fine, the actor is Robert Pattinson but I'll forever see him as Hufflepuff good guy Cedric Diggory.
  4. To be fair, I think Ben Affleck wanted out of the role ever since it first bombed with fans and critics. I can't say I blame him. I think @headrush is straight on about casting Richard Madden in the role. I think Jack O'Connell would be a good bet too. He's young enough at 28 and he's not as well-known, so there are fewer expectations and biases about how he should act. Sometimes it's hard to see some well-established actors as Batman as we've built the hero up in our heads over the years. By the way, who do you think made the most credible Batman so far? I'm going with Christian Bale in the Dark Knight.
  5. The replacement should be someone quite a bit younger than Affleck. I'm thinking Richard Madden or possibly one of the older boys from Stranger Things.
  6. Warner Bros. is casting its new Batman film and it will have a new super hero. The film will focus on a young Bruce Wayne. Ben Affleck was set to star in the movie and to help write the film, but I don't believe he's involved at all anymore. I can't say I'm surprised as he seemed to flounder in the role in Batman v. Superman and Justice League. So now that Affleck is out, who do you think should take his place as the Caped Crusader?
  7. Arkham Knight is one of the best games I've ever played. I very rarely put the effort in to 100% anything but I did here and now I wish I still had more to do.
  8. I know PC owners haven't; the game is so broken that Warner Bros. have actually requested it be removed from sale.
  9. Waiting for pennies to be free to get it. Anyone else agreeing that it's been really good as well?
  10. Loving this game so far. It has everything that made the other Arkham games great & more. The inclusion of the batmobile adds a whole new layer & its actually a vital part of the game & not just something they've thrown in to get from A to B.
  11. Three weeks to go and the trophy / achievement list has been leaked. There's nothing spoilery in the list and it's mostly your bog-standard requirements, with the exception of one that stood out; "Initiate Knightfall Protocol".
  12. While I could see it being the former, the first episode of Arkham Insider confirms that it's the latter and you switch between the characters during play.
  13. From articles / reports I've read, the double-team attacks are not multi-player elements. Instead, it seems that they are either assist moves (like the old X-Men game on the Megadrive or Marvel v Capcom) or are toggled like changing characters in the Lego games. Personally, I could see it being the former.
  14. Over the past couple weeks I've played through the first 2 with Arkham Origins lined up for this week in preparation for the bad boy. I had forgotten just how f*cking wicked these games are, I cant wait for the next instalment, seriously hyped.
  15. The new trailer, with a suitably epic tone... and hints to a possible multi-player aspect to the story mode?
  16. Article from COW: The Narrative Road to Batman Arkham Knight
  17. Rocksteady have issued a press release to advise the game has been delayed again. It will now be available on June 23rd. Official PS4 footage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6H-AWXV1L4
  18. Forgot to mention; the game has been rated [M] in the US (not for sale to anyone under 17), so this could be quite a nasty, graphically violent game.
  19. [video=youtube;y_vqzYOvgvc] In major news, it seems that as with Arkham City, Batman may not be the only person you play as in the game. Spoilers ahead (obviously). In another possible major spoiler, some sites are reporting that the identity of Arkham Knight himself may have been given away.
  20. The good news is that there will soon be a new Batman game this year: Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. I for one am excited by that game as well.
  21. Conroy knows nothing; the game now has an official release date of June 2nd 2015.
  22. Man, that Red Hood design is so disappointing.
  23. The pre-order deatails have been released -: http://i62.tinypic.com/2i79s81.jpg You can read more about it here.
